Blazers big man Zach Collins is out tomorrow versus the Lakers in Game 1 with left ankle inflammation.

It's been a long 7 years since we've been in the play-offs. In fact, we only have one Laker on the current squad that was on that team in 2013...Dwight!

I agree with the poster that suggested about Dwight Howard starting, I don’t like the idea of McGee going up against Nurkic I much prefer Howard and his physicality going up against a banger like Nurkic.

No doubt about it...guys like Nurkic and Jokic back McGee to the rim and easily score on him every time. McGee has zero girth lower body.

Yep, hopefully Vogel will see that McGee starting would be a very bad move.

Yes Thats why I suggested it : )

I hope were not married to a certain lineup because of pride and Ego...

We are trying to win and better to put Dwight on Nurkic as much as possible see if he can get him into foul trouble or make life difficult for him in the post.

Dwight would also have to stay under control and avoid getting some cheap fouls which he does alot.

I wouldn't hold your breath on Dwight starting. McGee will start but will probably play limited minutes.

Yeah im sure McGee will start as well but it doesn't make any sense when you have Dwight who in all honestly has been playing better in the bubble and is a way better matchup against Nurkic.

McGee should matchup on Whiteside who doesn't get the offense run through him quite as much.

Dwight shall not start. If he does, he will be in foul trouble all game diminishing his game, while HWhiteside will be eating alive McGee, not to say we will see akward rotations. They have a bigger problem trying to guard AD. Nurkic eventually will have to guard AD. We will be fine.

I think Dwight will end up playing the 4th on Nurkic

Vogel stick with this starting lineup all season long, I doubt he's changing it tomorrow.

I only expect him to do it if we're completely dominated by the Blazers (which I don't think is gonna happen)
