That's because we insisted on waiting for Kawhi. Sigh.

Ironically, a lockdown perimeter defender, a third scorer, and a shooter are exactly what we’re missing.

We missed an inordinate amount of threes. Our two best players -- one of whom is an excellent free throw shooter -- missed four straight free throws. We spotted them at least 10 points in that first. And yet, we had a lead. One or two minor breaks and it's a Laker win.

We'll be fine.

Guys I dont blame:
1. Lebron - good game
2. AD - perimeter shot doesnt fall, hey it happens - guy is a 33% 3 shooter.
3. Kuzma - good game
4. Dwight - good game

Dwight was good but that stupid offensive foul turned the tide. Up 6, turnover and Dame hits a 3 after. He should have known they were watching him closely. Dwight is a bit too emotional at times.

Shooting 5-32 3Pt (15.6%) is not a good look.

First time since 2003 where it was Spurs and Pistons and they still met in the Finals but it’s a different situation here in the bubble.

Even when it comes to music during the game. All I know at Staples Center after Dame hits a three your not going to hear his Oakland anthem song (Too Short’s Blow the Whistle) being played like wtffff 😤😤😤😤😤

Anyways the Lakers gotta correct this issue ASAP and re-adjust their lineup and stick to them. No more hockey subs.
They should watch as many hate videos from the media as possible and go hard at practice and be ready to tie this series back up on Thursday

Shame Kawhi played the Lakers. Could have gone after Butler.

Nets made the finals in 2003.

The problem with this thinking is we are so far removed from the 82 game grind. Teams like the Blazers and Rockets aren’t going to get tired legs after a 5 month layoff.

They can handle this 2-3 month quick burn. It’s nothing compared to a normal season. This is like a fresh start and a sprint.

Vogel,Kidd and Handy gotta figure this out during the film session that you can’t do these hockey subs especially in the playoffs.

Up 6 Kuz on fire and you bench him is where it went down the drain.

Gotta ride Your hot hand until the deal is done.

This right here. And Kuz was being aggressive, putting the blazers on their heels. And Vogel takes him out? Yet KCP does squat and kept getting minutes?

We always start slowly....kuzma needs a bigger role in our team...we also need to run plays for our bigs....I bet play defense against the lakers isn't tiring....we win because of skill...not because of scheme....but role players struggle when the scheme sucks...and that's what we have been seeing the whole bubble.

Green is okay but I don’t understand KCP playing 29mins when he was clearly struggling. Morris should have got more minutes.

Two teams where there defense is mediocre but it doesn’t matter because their offense is soo lethal.

Two teams who have been great at defense all season become somewhat irrelevant in the bubble. ( Lakers,Bucks)

Can’t continue using this as an excuse the Lakers really want they gotta rise up to this challenge. Had an entire month of really bad basketball you would think the light switch might flick on soon......

Well let’s keep dwelling about the past some more and continue expecting the Lakers to suck in the bubble is a better option?

No. Green is horrible. What does he even bring to the table? Experience?

pretty rough coaching job by Vogel.. I was def. hoping for better lineup decisions once the Playoffs started.. it was pretty blatant green and kcp especially were not feeling it tonight yet he just kept them in the game and even let them close

most of the team played bad but some of those coaching decisions really had me scratching my head.. not sure why waiters didn't get minutes either. that was extremely embarrassing to still lose this game....
