Thanksgiving is a white washed BS holiday.

Try explaining what there is to celebrate to a Native American.
Heck I’m AA. And I still don’t see what we’re celebrating?

I’d be surprised if anybody in the Western Hemisphere south of us has their own similar holiday. And for good reason.

Are we celebrating the deals with Native people we double crossed them on ? The smallpox blankets? The death marches? The pillaging of the land?

People have finally understood Columbus isn’t someone to celebrate. Maybe eventually people will feel similarly about Thanksgiving.

Of course I like the food though. But leaving all the history aside, the company you have with you largely affects if it’s a good or bad experience.

whats your opinion on the removal of controversial statues? they are part of history and when erected (Lol) they clearly had significance to the area.

Go to Germany and count how many Hitler statues they have standing . . . you know, reflecting the historical significance of the area.

this is silly. This would equate to a statue of the grand dragon. cant we find something in everyone's background? Obviously, some are more extreme than others but is every public statue of someone with zero demons.

Now who's being silly? Hitler wasn't just some random guy running a his local white power group. He was the political leader of the country and head of it's armed forces—same as the generals of the Confederacy that are coming down. That's a nonsensical comparison.

As for the comment that everyone has something in their background, that's just the ridiculous. We aren't talking about people who had some dark moment in their past. We are talking about military leaders who attempted to divide the country through civil war.

so I'm clear. A statue of lee equates to a statue of Hitler.

That's a bit much, too. Hitler equates to someone like Stalin or Pol Pot. Lee is no hero, but freaks like those were such evil incarnate, they're in a different stratosphere than any non-dictator or despot directly in command of a policy of genocide or forced famine/purges and the like.

My go to chips are Ruffles cheddar and sour cream. Recently I tried Xtra flamin hot cheetohs. And that's grown on me.

Nice. For me it's ruffles cheddar - Lays stax BBQ - Kettle Honey Dijon (most places seem to have stopped carrying this flavor, for some reason)

Fake is great but you don't get the smell of pine. The smell of pine lends more to a Christmasy feeling. If you get real, stand your tree in a water reservoir. The tree won't dry out as quickly and it's less of a fire hazard. You can buy fake mist pine smell for artificial trees but it's not the same as the real pine smell.

That smell is heaven for 3-4 weeks. Rest of the year, you're forced to huff Pine Sol to get your high. Then you come share your Pine Sol wisdom at LG. VLF does it for certain.

Never understood Ruffles. Lays makes a nice crinkle that’s way better than the almost pringles consistency of the ruffles.

I like the lays crinkle sour cream. But the cheddar and sour cream flavor with Ruffles beats it out (for me).

Now I’m not gonna try to justify liking sea salt and vinegar kettle chips. I know that’s not normal. Lol

For me it's chili cheese Fritos.

A lot of people find them gross but I also love Pork Rinds. Hotter and saltier the better.

Salt and vinegar is good. Flavored potato chips not so much.

I was going to "humbug" the entire chip discussion, but then I remembered I actually like sea salt & vinegar chips so I'll shut up now.

Sea salt and vinegar kettle chips are the tops, but those chili-cheese Frito's are the best of the big brand chips for sure.

Lol, the funny part is that the regular lays have bigger ridges.
