McVay has his way this young socialites my dude.

OBJ clearly wants to be in LA and the warm weather. He is gonna be WR3 behind Cooper and Woods.

It means less touches for Van Jefferson but this is a low risk, high reward type of move. If for some reason it doesn't work out, we can just cut him.

I like the sigining.

With Kupp and OBJ on the field together, who do you double? Two deep threats leave the middle wide open. The right offensive scheme will make the Rams a triple passing threat. McVay has to show his ability to deal with what he's been dealt.

A very good signing for the Rams. There's enough time left in the season for OBJ to absorb the playbook and develop chemistry with Stafford.

I think we will see Woods in the backfield a bit more and try to get the guys some touches in different ways. I just hope we don't abandon the run. Part of the reason we lose games is McVays stubborn tendency to pass pass pass all the damn time.

If anything OBJ is WR insurance.
Everyone said Jalen was a headcases in Jax....but he's come to
LA and been a model citizen. Low risk, high reward and I think we gets compensatory pick with the signing.

How about shoring up the offensive line.

The Rams have one of the best offensive lines in the league. I don't know what happened last week. I'm not going to judge them on one game.

WR is the most overrated position in NFL nowadays, especially a down the field type of receiver. possessional slot receivers are more valuable imo. i hope OBJ turns out good for the Rams, but i have no faith in him, he's too Hollywood before got traded to the real Hollywood.

I'm encouraged that the Rams signed someone who can actually play...!

I agree.

Teams can't wait to get rid of him because he is what used to be called a clubhouse lawyer, he thinks he knows best and gets pissy if he doesn't get his way.

Not to mention he misses way too many games and has way too low of a completion rate the last 2 years.

I am assuming he told the Rams his head was on straight as far as usage and such before they signed him.

Is he what he once was? I'm sure he isn't. But truly and honestly, he gets open a lot, still. For whatever reason, the fit with Mayfield was a disaster. He would be wide open on routes and Mayfield either didn't look for him or he couldn't hit him. Yet Mayfield plays much better whenever OBJ hasn't been on the field or when he targets other players. It just never worked out.

Stafford is by far the best QB he's ever played with, so if he can continue to get open, Stafford can just pick the mismatch. It's a low-risk gamble, and if he doesn't work out, you can just cut him without any problem.

That OBJ signing might prove to be more important than previously thought:

Robert Woods tore his ACL during practice on Friday.

The rams are cursed. First Akers and now Woods.

Man I hate to hear that, NFL careers can be fleeting.

OBJ can't complain much now about targets as one would anticipate. What a blow just like Lakers and Dodgers, one man up another goes down.

I hope McVay puts 1 or 2 plays in the game plan for OBJ. He can definitely be a decoy.

Well at least our bye week is after Sunday's game. Good timing. Two weeks off. Give Von Miller and OBJ more time to get acclimated.

Rams vs 49ers @ Levi's Stadium, Monday Night Football 11/15. I wonder if OBJ will get on the field? He would make a great decoy.

I hope McVay puts in 1 - 2 simple plays for Beckham.

OBJ played with Eli I believe. He was better than Stafford and OBJ made his name known catching passes from Eli.

Damn....this couldn't happen to a better person/baller. God speed, Woody.

RW has been the heart and soul of the Rams ever since he got here. Forget the stats and all that sh!t....it's his leadership, selfless attitude, and blocking like a muthaeffer that will be sorely missed. His overall toughness always sets the tone. Hopefully he'll still be roaming the sidelines. Bobby Trees will be missed.

Thank goodness we signed OBJ.

Arizona lost. We have a great opportunity to tie them in the standings going into the the bye week.
