I got lucky.. Had to take my girlfriend to work to get corona test.. when I came back a medium tree branch fell where the back of my vehicle would have been and hit part of car next to my spot.. whew..

Winds so crazy a Fed Ex Tractor Trailer overturned right here in the city on the only overpass we have...

I just sent you a DM about this. I'm in the area too if you need anything let me know man.

Already had one engineer on my team have to evacuate (she was near Superior) and my best friend and his wife in west Arvada are in pre-evacuation...

Apparently the heat from the wildfires is affecting the weather system and may be keeping the wind from dying down. Absolutely crazy.

Thanks man. Winds are starting to die down so hopefully emergency personnel are able to start battling in earnest.

Thank you all.

I am about to go drive as close as I can get..

And thank you DuncanIdaho for reaching out. I really appreciated it.

We're safe

Tomorrow night brings icy roads and enough snow to put out all fires but way too late

Yikes... I was out at my truck and just finishing loading a small dolly to bring in I hear what sounds like an Arc Welder .. get this.. 30 feet from our apartment complex - and 30ish feet from 3 other complexes

I look real fast for any human over there.. it was an empty lot recently torn down 50's service station.... nobody.. so it wasn't workers.. then the humm got ominous and much bigger... not arc welder lol..

ran to get phone and called 911 just as officer was pulling up and fire trucks arrived in about 60 seconds

Weird having to tell 911
What's your emergency.. ."Fire" in some voice I tried to control...

Stay up tonight folks.. keep watch on your neighborhood.. this was just random overcurrent or?? no fallen tree or lightning
