Wow, I noticed Harden's failed attempt to draw a foul during the game, but your link shows how amazing and prepared Cam was on defense guarding him.
Notice that as Harden throws his legs towards the jumping defender, Cam instinctively splits his own legs wide open so that contact could not be made... genius!
Harden's unnatural basketball shooting form of kicking both legs forward should be banned next season if the league is as serious as the commissioner (and Dumars) claimed recently about dialing down the offense of today's game. |

It cracks me up that people here think that the Lakers own Crypto, they too are tenants. It’s the Kings ownership who owns Crypto.

You realize that the family that owns Crypto.com arena owned a 27% share in the Lakers right? Those shares were exchanged in lieu of cash from the Buss family in order to get the arena built. Now Philip Anschutz sold those shares to the Dodgers ownership group back in 2021. But saying the Clippers and Lakers both have the same status in the arena is very far from true. The Clippers were always the renter, the Kings and Lakers were the ones that actually put a stake into the building of the arena. |

The Clippers aren’t winning anything this season, they can definitely be had. Zubac would have made a difference but PG has been playing like garbage, he wouldn’t have made much of a difference. Maybe they would have had a stronger bench but they have been losing games late for a few weeks.

| Lakers up by 6 with about a little over a minute left and on two consecutive possessions they just played prevent defense and KL got two layups to cut it to 2 and made things interesting at the end. we've seen this script many times before and Lakers were lucky it didn't bite them in the arse last night. basically it took LeBron's superhuman 4th qtr to win that game. still think Clippers is a better team this year than the Lakers, just being real here. |

The collective floor of their top players is certainly higher, but I would give the ceiling to the Lakers - usual health * applies.
The Lakers have to step up more but I think they can. I don't know if they would often enough in a series. |

anyone have the numbers on the gap between the size of the fan bases?
I look forward to the first game in the new area when the Lakers continue to draw more fans in their home. It really has to sting the organization that no matter how much money they pour into growing their brand, they won't win over the city. |
