Hamm has been able to do 2 things.
Got AD to realize he is that guy (at least when bron is out)
Convinced russ that coming off the bench is his best option.
AD is playing different. IMHO he could net a haul right now. he is literally being wasted and from the list of duos, unfortunately, none of those teams have anything in return. we need picks and a young star to be.

Not even that, but a Rondo or Dudley type 15th man on the roster to be in his ear. I've gotta say though, it's so nice to know AD isn't "cooked".

Curious what “picks and a young star” do for James?
Doubt he would be thrilled. He really does not have a reputation for being patient with young players or rebuilds. Perhaps your strategy is to encourage him to demand a trade? Or retire?
Both seem counterproductive to the FO plan in giving him a max extension and marketing his multi year retirement tour. |

Hopefully people stop going to Laker games. Nothing worse than a retirement tour 2.0. |

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could trade fans? I’d love that. We could trade the fans that see AD playing well and want to trade him instead seeing AD playing well and want to try to win.
Think about it…a player on a team is playing well near MVP level…if a fan’s first thought is “trade that player for pics” instead of the 1st thought being “what can we do to compete”? then imo that fan should be traded because atm that fan prefers pics over winning and is ok with losing.
The preferred fan imo is the one that is rabid about winning and has an allergic reaction to losing.

According to Ham, AD had been asking him from the start of the season to let him carry the load. He wrote on the board the first day of practice "Feed AD" or something to that effect. It was after LeBron was out with injury that the Lakers finally started doing that for 2 halfs and they've benefited.
