AD coming up big with our back against the wall. "Weak" opponent, granted, but still a great performance. Wish they set him up for 40 at the end

Can't be nitpicking right now... I'll take the W however they come.

AD been a beast last 2 games. 21 FTs tonight

Ant-Man has rediscovered his passion for the game!
AD is locked-in and focused. Glad to see him having a great season so far.
I expect him to be just as dynamic against the Spurs on Sunday.
GO Ant-Man, GO LAKERS!!

With bron gone he has to be the man. It’s a good look for him. Unfortunately it will end soon when bron returns

LBJ allowing AD to keep doing what he’s doing would mean Lebron wouldn’t be the best player on the team anymore. Lebron can’t have that. His ego won’t allow it.

And why exactly did Vogel want to turn AD into a three pointer shooter right after they've just won a championship? I liked Vogel alot but that was one decision that I never could understand. Pelinka was probably like "yea, yea, he should shoot more threes."

Better late than never I guess. He's still only 29. We still have time to mold him into one of the best bigs ever. Even if we don't win another championship, at least we'd still be able to observe some great skillful basketball for a few more years.

It's always annoying to watch AD not get the ball in the 2nd half when he's killed it in the first whilst watching LeBron jack up ill fated threes as he tries to catch Kareem and not try on defense.

Been our best player this year, and still one of the best 2 way players in the league and second only to Giannis at his position in terms of it.

You clearly didn't watch the Clippers game.

Either way, LeBron isn't the same guy and it's hard to watch... well for me.

It can be described as little intellectual honesty from a literal sense, but that description confuses the narrative, and only serves to cynically disguise the real conscious depiction of the beliefs expressed.

Figuratively it's simpler than that...it's just fans doing what fans do...grasping for any glimmer of hope for their team and convincing ourselves that possibilities can turn into realities regardless of the likelihood of that positive reality coming to fruition.

Translation: When a fan team wins, they truly believe, regardless of the situation, that they can win again.

If that belief is genuine, even in the face of misguided optimism, should it really be described as dishonest?...even if it turns out to be wrong?

Now if you want to accuse me of being delusionally optimistic I have no defense for that lol!

Who needs Turner we have Bryant
Who needs a backup PF we have Gabriel
Who needs Hayward we have TBjr and LW4
Who needs Rozier we have Schroeder
Who needs 3pt shooting we have Reeves
(the above list is sarcasm, in case anyone is wondering, I'm still guilty of delusional optimism tho lol)

Yupe. It's Bron's fault he got owned by zubac.

How about we just enjoy ad's play without shade at anyone else?

Yeah, not surprised. We're finally running an offense that caters to AD's talents and we're also gotten a motivated AD that has decided enough of the losing. Unfortunately while I see us being able to get away with this against teams like Detroit and San Antonio, I don't see this holding up without much more support against elite teams.

The biggest bright side is we're seeing that AD still has a lot to offer a team. And it's just fun to watch him go off like this.

That's not what I'm talking about. If a 38 year old player struggles to beat his man or attack out of the PnR, it's because "he doesn't care about winning". If he takes and misses shots that he normally makes, it's because "he doesn't care about winning".
This forum, along with Twitter and reddit, is peppered with those who serve as a mouthpiece for their agendas, and little else.

That’s the issue. Bron wasn’t holding AD back but the offense bron runs when on the court isn’t conducive to ads game. It appears the second AD gets position he’s getting the ball right now Bron pounds the ball forcing AD to constantly reset.

Pretty easy matchup against Dieng and Bassey tonight, with no Poeltl on the floor

That said, he looks as fresh as he's been in ages
