If only this offense ran LbJ pnr Davis at the five surrounded by shooters. |

How much does he practice in the off season on his 3. Every year in the NBA, he shoots it like he's a three pt shooter, but he's always low 30's in percentage, and godawful this year at 26%. You guys think he will ever be high 30's thee point shooter? This dude would be a 60% shooter in the NBA if he eliminates the three ball. Either get good at it, or just get rid of it. |

You know a top 10 list is based on opinions right, and everyone's entitled to that. As an individual player he isn't in my top 10, but like I said he is one of the best fits with Lebron. |

They ran it once, early in the 4th, for an AD dunk off a Lebron lob.
Never went back to it. Coaching malpractice- they should have gone to that over and over in the 4th. GS has no one to defend against it. Dray can’t get up that high.
Instead, they were trying to throw bounce passes into AD all night that Dray was grabbing every time. |

AD played really well, 2nd half, at the 5. I guess the recipe for AD not to act so soft is putting him at the 5. |

In my opinion, Davis was a top 5 player for parts of last season including the playoffs.
As for this season, even before the injury, he’s maybe a top 20. Not hating on the man, but he certainly hasn’t played better this season than the likes of LeBron, Lillard, Jokic, Steph, Mitchell, Luka, CP3, Booker, Giannis, Embiid, Tatum, Brown, Durant, Irving, Harden, Vucevic, Lavine, Zion, Randle, Beal........hopefully he returns to form for us in the playoffs. |

When he closes game at the 5, having that 3 ball is so important to our schemes. I do not agree with you on getting rid of it. But this season he has fallen in love with the outside shot, but it is also the coaches that want him to be doing that. At season's start, they told him he needs to shoot 5 three pointers a game.
When we play lineups with Trez or Drummond at the 5, again AD has to stick outside more.
One of the longterm goals for the team needs to be to find a big that can defend physical players at the 5, and also be able to spread the floor, so AD can play more closer to the basket at the 4. It was one of the reasons we got Marc Gasol, and I still think we should be playing Gasol more than we are. |

It's all about schematics. AD at the 5 is a completely different player.
Once the lane was free for him, it was over for GSW.
Vogel can't let his role on offense be staying around the 3 point line. Clear the (bleep) paint for him. AD + Drummond is a bad combination. AD + Harrell is a bad combination. AD + Gasol should work, but Vogel don't play the guy |

Nope. He gets too many knickknack injuries to consistently shoot well from distance. I hope he proves me wrong but I think his ceiling is 35%. |

AD at 5 topic has been talked to death. why not have a flexible lineup? when playing teams without a dominant center, AD starts at C. when play against Denver, PHX, Portland or Sixers, put Drommond as the starting center. |

Did you watch the playoffs last year? That’s exactly what Vogel did, so if needed, he will do it again |

So, IMO, AD was def a top 5 last year and was robbed of the DPOY
This year? Something was wrong from game 1. He seemed hurt, or just like he needed rest or something.
After that injury, he started showing dominance. Last night in the second half he was a bane to the Warriors.
AD has his weaknesses but he is a hell of a player. We're damn lucky he is here. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |
