People are sleeping on the Lakers too much.
I said that no team wants to face the Lakers in the playoffs and this is why. AD is back. Hopefully LBJ will be able to come back relatively healthy and we have ourselves a squad. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Man, a healthy AD can drag a team to 2nd round… I hope he continues to channel his inner Kobe. Fellas, we have a chance |

Bubble AD showed up tonight. Hope he is here to stay, and i loved the aggression from him tonight (diving on the floor, blocks, steals, crashing the board, etc.). |

Quote: | AD's physicality has been one of the biggest recent differences in his game. He's just moving dudes out of the way in the paint. Much more aggressive and assertive than earlier in the season. |
Buha nailed this one, it’s really noticeable.
AD was throwing Ayton around. Last night was a pretty embarrassing game for Ayton, he looked like Bambi AD without offense. |

It's all effort with AD. He is going to have his fake season ending injury every game but when he is engaged he is unstoppable. Especially on defense when he is boarding and blocking shots. |

If AD plays like he has in the last 2, then the rest of the league should be sh*ttin bricks.
The win vs. PHX was all about AD's willingness to play aggressively and attack.
Was that his MOST dominant regular season performance as a Laker? |

Well the torch is there for AD to take.
LBJ can't carry this team. AD needs to step up. I don't see why AD can't be a 30/10 guy every night. |

Hell no. Dude dropped this many points in his 4th or 5th game as a Laker.
AD dropped 50 points for us last year. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

We're gonna need this AD in the playoffs if we were to have any chance of a repeat. Lebron won the finals MVP last year. It's time for AD to follow suit. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

AD and LeBron both need to play like themselves for the team to repeat. |

If he decided to shirk defense, he could. But he has to also exert energy on D.
With that said, when he's locked in...yea...why not? He was dominating the Suns for pretty much most of the time he was on the floor. +26 is a major arse beating he delivered amongst everything else. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. AD was doing a much better job of handling double teams vs the Suns. If AD can pick up apart the defense like that with his passing, teams won't load up on him on the low block. AD in the post is unstoppable. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

I hope AD sits out tomorrow. He needs to save energy for the playoffs. We should be able to beat Houston easily without him. |

It's banner night and the last home game of the season so I highly doubt it but I can see them hopefully playing him much lower minutes for sure especially after the few scares late in this one. Let the bigs all get some extra minutes.
You can tell he was def. winded and exhausted in the overtime but another great one by him. His defense especially was a thing of beauty. |

Yeah what he said is that he wants to play but he'll see how he feels https://twitter.com/jovanbuha/status/1392348226947215363 .
Hopefully he just does a 5 minute ceremonial stint because it's Banner Night and then goes somewhere and sits down lol |

Yeah, i'd much prefer that as well! I didn't see that quote but that makes at least it being limited minutes much more likely. Let Lebron show out a bit in this one since he can get his groove back against a team that plays next to no defense and hopefully also not play a ton of minutes. |

If AD had a motor like Giannis he would be the best player in the league at a canter. AD is kind of a crock though and would break if he played hard all the time. After Lebron is gone the Lakers will have a tough time winning championships if AD is the best player on the team. He can’t handle that kind of usage rate. |

Davis has had multiple 70+ game seasons with NOLA and was otw to 70 in his first year in LA before the COVID break.
This season has just been hard for him considering they haven't had a real break after winning the title. |

I think he'd have the motor if his body was able to take more, but the slightest bump gets me scared for 'em. |
