The ESPN commentators said that the lakers are being careful with him on back to backs but they also questioned it cause they said he only played 12 minutes against Philly.
Might’ve been pure speculation on their part. |

That shows the incredible lack of imagination of this FO. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I think there might be something to it because there was literally no reason for dwight to not play given the circumstances.
Our starting lineup had a net rating of -84.6, thanks Vogel for always trying something new and dumb. |

Frank not calling a timeout in the 4th to keep their 10-point lead gave the Hawks all the momentum.
The moment the Hawks went on a 6-0 run, call the TO, but instead he waited for them to go on a 14-2 with the Lakers losing the lead before calling one. Too little too late. _________________

Yeah, barring a title it's time to move on this summer. Pray that Fizdale isn't his replacement. _________________ Under New Management |

I hope the FO doesn't pull what they did to Lue and Monty in the next head coaching search. |

I would think that Vogel needs to be fired within the season and if they are thinking about Handy or Fizdale, they need to audition as an interim going into the off season. |

If Vogel remains the coach, I don't know if we make the post season, and that is just being honest. I understand that Lebron gives is a good chance, but it seems like Vogel sabotages are chances to win. |

I don't want Fizdale or Handy to be the next head coach so I hope Vogel isn't fired mid-season. _________________ Under New Management |

You shouldn't know who you want, until they are out there, and providing results. I would personally like to see what Phil Handy could do. Phil Jackson wasn't Phil, until he was given the opportunity to provide results. You might say you don't want Phil when he 1st started coaching the bulls. Same with Pop, Pat, or any great coach. |

as these kinds of losses keep piling on, vogel will likewise start to lose the locker room...that is if he hasn't already...
the last 2 games were winnable with better coaching... |

Frank with his Frankenstein coaching and pre-game starting line up changes every game. Players starting to not like it. |

Our defense is just downright pathetic. Points in the paint we gave up says it all. Okongwu 8-9 with how many dunks? Collins 10-13! Meanwhile the Flippers are playing .500 ball with no Leonard OR George. What does that say about our team (players and coaching) that can't win with 2 of our big 3. We stunk with Lebron and Westbrook, and now with Westbrook and AD we're sinking fast. |

Lakers fans be like
coaching isn't the biggest problem, it's the second biggest and we can't do anything about the biggest problem, so let's do nothing about the second biggest either |

The Clippers have many of the same role players from year and same system. Style of play. Off the top of my head I think they had Reggie Jackson, Zubac, Morris, Kennard, Batum all last year.
We had the same situation last year when Frank had carry overs from the title team with KCP, Caruso, Kuzma and Kieff. Without Bron/AD we played .500 ball
The issue is we traded all those guys for Westbrook, and either WB is not good enough to make up for those guys or Frank forgot how to coach in a year.
Let’s just say this, ok? If we traded WB to the Clippers for Morris, Kennard, Reggie Jackson. Do the Clippers get better or us? That’s sort of the move we made. We did a 5 for 1 move - Trez/Kuz/KCP/Dennis/Caruso all out, WB in. I know the trade was not that but essentially we replaced Dennis thinking WB was worth all that.
Frank may not fit Westbrook, but Westbrook history says we’re exactly where teams who rely on him heavily are. We haven’t the 2-way depth like last year to overcome AD/Bron injuries. |

exactly....how many winnable games have they lost this season? winnable means you could've won the game with the players out there. His rotations, lack of in-game adjustments, and starting lineups (this small ball lineup is ok sometimes) but not as much as he plays 3 6ft something guards at the same time are not good and if all you can do is only blame the FO, LeBron, AD, and Klutch and not see Vogel as part of the problem then you most likely aren't watching how the game is being coached |

The issues experienced this year, and really for the last ten years save a blip created by LeBron coming and bringing Davis, start at the top. Vogel is assured to get fired no later than the end of this season and that may end up being the right move. But we won't really be out of the woods until we have stronger ownership. The nostalgia of the Buss name, and the reluctance by many, including those in the media, to criticize Jeanie are part of the problem. |
