Stephen A. Smith saying the Rambis are making every decision, not Jeanie, not Pelinka. They are running the coaching search, they are basically the acting President of BB Operations. SAS even kind of hinted that the Rambis’ are the ones who are advising Jeanie to just forget about trying to pair another star with LeBron and just trade him and start over.

She is worse. I get Jim was terrible, but he gave a crap. She undermined him every step of the way. She leaked info about him sabotaging Phil in 2012. Continued to talk crap for years after. The necessary change is her stepping down. I'd rather the team sell but if not, step the F aside and let Jesse run it. Hopefully Jesse is smart enough to go steal a legit PBO and immediately turn this around. |

Had she kept Mitch Kupchak on after getting rid of her brother instead of bringing in Pelinka, none of this would happen. Mitch is a class act and well respected, Magic would continue to be POBO.

Dave McMenamin made a great point yesterday, he said that big company's pay millions of dollars for a 30 second Superbowl spot to build up their brand.
Lakers are doing the opposite, they're killing their brand by giving it bad publicity for weeks, and they're doing it all for free!

Do you guys remember when just a few short weeks ago, the talking heads in the media made up a story of how Rob "the snake" Pelinka backstabbed Lance, etc... and ran with that story, proclaiming it all over the place as gospel truth, with such great confidence too, as if they were physically present for those supposed Pelinka-Nance conversations and that their story/take could not be doubted? And the lemmings among us swallowed up the BS and started running in a herd towards the nearest cliff? And do you remember this short and sweet tweet Lance made a few weeks after... summarily dismissing their lies and saying, "Rob and I had and still have a great relationship"?

Don't get sucked in by the talking heads. They want and need your clicks, and will sell their mothers to get them. None of these guys are privy to what is actually happening or being said. These reports could be true... they might also not be true or might be only telling one side of the story. So let's wait and see what actually happens/happened, rather than let the talking heads and click-bait masters dictate how we feel or what we believe.
