Ozark question for those who finished: is the final episode the most climactic and best? Or is the penultimate episode the most climactic with the last episode being mostly slow and resolution?

Planning a watch party and not sure if we should do 1 or 2 episodes.

I finished it, but won't answer that (for the sake of you and others here). Even talking about indirect things would be a spoiler to some. Just watch and enjoy.

There are zero filler episodes in the last half season of Ozark.

Okay got it. Some people already watched 13 so it doesn't matter anymore. I was just thinking of shows like Game Of Thrones where the penultimate episode was the climax and the last episode was all resolution.

Tuco killed himself? Tuco is in the slammer, you mean Nacho.

Yeah, got the o's mixed up. Meant Nacho Varga.

If Kim gets the axe it will be devastating. She isn't around in BB and it was pointed out that in the opening where they are sweeping Sauls house, there is only 1 tooth brush and no female items. I wonder how she disappears before the BB timeline. Although there is a line in BB where Saul suggests he tell his wife he found a bag of money under a freeway bridge because "that's what I tell mine".

Correlating BB and BCS make it difficult to determine character paths. Kim and Saul are forefronts in BCS but Kim is not in BB. I don't see her being killed, maybe her departure will be a split between her and Jimmy.

I'ma put my money on Lalo.

Since Howard Hamlin also isn't in BB and part of this season's plot is that Kim and Saul are setting him up for something. I'm guessing this will cause the break up between them. Maybe their setup goes way too far and one or the other decides they need to get away from each other.

I'm just as curious to see what happens to Saul in the future (or is it present?). Does the law catch up to him or does the series end with him being stuck as Gene the Manager of Cinnabon?

I think she'll end up behind bars.

Just the way the show has written her story. Seems like the logical conclusion. But hey. Vince Gilligan and his crew are smarter than me. So it's very likely I'm wrong.

BOSCH:LEGACY

10 episodes. The first 4 episodes have been released. Exclusively on a new app called Freevee (used to be IMDb TV). There are some ads during the episodes but not too bad.

Quote:
Harry Bosch, retired homicide detective turned Private Investigator, fights to work cases without the authority his former job provided. Attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, having survived an attempted murder, struggles to maintain her faith in the justice system. And Maddie Bosch discovers the possibilities and challenges of being a rookie patrol cop on the streets of Los Angeles.

Is this a rehash of Bosch? I thought that was a great series.

I watch the first 4 episodes on my IPTV newly added series. I'm not getting any commercials. There are several storylines. Vance's son, Maddie's boot, and Honey on the hunt. I'm hooked again.

I watched the first 2 episodes. Star Trek is a difficult series to gauge. I'm conflicted as to which was the best Star Trek series. The series Star Trek starring William Shatner (Captain Tiberius Kirk ) or Star Trek: The Next Generation staring Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard). Star Trek: IMO Strange New Worlds has a lot to live up to.

I don't think it is a "if" . . . I think it is inevitable that it ends very badly for her. She' not going to just ride off into the sunset. I've said that pretty much since her role in Jimmy's world became clear. Kim's demise (and Jimmy's role in corrupting her) is going to be the thing that completely breaks Jimmy of any decency he has left. You can see it in her arc. She has become darker, less prudent and more ruthless and self-destructively reckless. It's going to get her killed, and it will fall at Jimmy's feet.

Kim is as good as dead at this point. They're setting her up for something far more brutal (for her and for Jimmy's conscience) than simply going to prison. I almost guarantee it and have been sensing it for a looooong time now and the more I see, the more I do.
