Lakers get: Wall, Grant
Detroit gets: THT and Gordon
Houston gets: Westbrook and Olynyk
Salaries work but Detroit could probably do better. |
Why doesn’t Detroit just take NUNN and THT instead of Gordon? |

Stein said Wall, and the lakers don’t want him, if anything, the lakers should ask for wood or KPJ at the minimum |

What about a 4 way trade? LA/Orlando/Cavs/Detroit
Lakers Grant/Love/Mamba
Cavs Russ/1st 2027
Orlando THT/2 2nds
Detroit Cedi/Sexton

If Detroit is going to take cedi and sexton for grant, the Cavs would’ve done that already, and they can even add picks if needed |

20 days left until the trade deadline, could be crazy or just marginal pieces moving around.. It would be disappointing if Grant is the only big name traded |

Why would Houston do it? |
Considering the money and contract length are the same. Houston isn't even letting Wall play. May as well pay and get some sort of return.
Houston has nothing to lose, neither do the Lakers. |
Funny how Rockets are now mentioned as a trade partner lol |
We have something to lose. Wall isn’t pitching a fit about being permanently benched. I doubt Westbrook would be ok not playing and not taking minutes away from the kids. |

Any of the bottom positions puts us on course to play the top teams,= to an
Early exit. Anyway, we aren’t going very far, IMO… _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

Don’t get to excited, Lakers have relatively played a light schedule up to this point the schedule becomes brutal from this point on and unless the team gets there act together there is a good chance we are still in this position in a few months from now, it would be good if AD comes back with a vengeance then maybe we might start to climb in the standings. |

Unless others players are involved, doesn’t make any sense to do that.
Lakers should move whatever assets necessary to get Ben Simmons. Needs to be a 3 or 4 team blockbuster. |
John Wall for Westbrook is being idiotic!!
There is no benefit to either team.
Stupid idea wherever this came from. |
This is true but that’s the only contract in nba that is equally bad as Westbrook. Any other Westbrook trade would need other assets as compensation. THT as an asset will not be enough to take on Westbrook. |

That would add some 30 million in salary and luxury tax. No way the Busses are signing up for it. |

One way or another the lakers are going to trade for a wing. My gut tells me if won’t be Grant, so who does that leave us with? |

I like Dort a lot, but he's not quite big enough for some PF minutes. He's even undersized for a SF, but can plays bigger than he is. |

Not surprised, teams won’t let him shot and he is not a guy to create his own shots or shot over someone |
