It would be ideal to get durable players. But, teams do have to rely on injury luck at some point. From the 2019 finals up until this playoff run, Curry, Klay, and Draymond all dealt with the injury bug. They got healthy at the right time and won a ring because of it.
Hayward has been injury prone for the last 3 seasons. But, he's still a really good player when healthy and would be a talent upgrade over Westbrook. The Lakers can't be THAT picky, especially if they're not giving up picks for him. He also only has 1 more additional year than Westbrook.
If the Pistons get Hayward and a pick while the Lakers are stuck with Westbrook for another season...
Adding Hayward to this lakers would be so perfect. We will have the injury prone big 3
LeBron is injury prone?!
I'm not sure if "injury prone" is really the right description, but he certainly has missed a lot of games because of injuries over the last two years. On the other hand, when he has been able to play during that span, he has played at an MVP level.
I sense jealousy from the Laker fan base because the Blazers got a whole lot better and might end up also getting OG Anunoby between now and tomorrow night, I get it.. we are stuck with no assets to Improve but don’t make it obvious.
they're good enough to make the play-in now
In addition to possibly getting OG they have the max to throw at DeAndre Ayton.. yeah I gotta admit I’m worried that all these WC teams are Improving significantly.. if Pelinka doesn’t do anything he needs to get canned no questions asked.
Ayton is about to find out life is hard without Chris Paul. At the end of the day a heathy AD and Bron beats all of that.
And at the end of day, you should go ahead and check Twitter or ESPN because Davis likely hurt himself brushing his teeth and is out for six weeks and LBJ needs a few weeks off to load management.
Once again, Warriors big three played a total of 11 minutes together all season before playoffs. 11 MINUTES. Why does that matter? Because if we didn’t allow LeGM to run this team into the ground getting who we wants to cater to him, we may have been able to weather the storm a little better around injuries.
At the end of the day You’re not making any sense. The warriors big 3 been playing together for years in the same system.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THIS TIME. They could have played 100 years together. But Warriors lead by Steph primarily maintained one of the top seed all season with big three only getting 11 minutes together. How did LBJ do with the team he constructed when injuries hit? Oh yeah that’s right.
Had LeGM not forced FO to get rid of Trez, Kuz, KPC, not resign Alex C and went back for Dennis at a lower rate (which according to rumors would have taken) on top of not having to sign Nunn since we already had guards, this team absolutely would have been a playoff team. Instead LeGM RW project failed. It makes complete sense for anyone not sniffing LBJ jock strap. Hope this cleared it up for you.
Again they played in that system for years now. And let’s not forget they missed the playoffs the past few years with the same players. We had a new team end of story _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Atlanta and San Antonio have discussed a deal that would swap John Collins for Dejounte Murray, sources said. Spurs have told interests teams that moving Murray would require a "Jrue Holiday-like package."
Jake Fischer has been on the scene for a couple years now. Has he ever gotten anything right? Feel's like he's always throwing ish at the wall and hoping it sticks.

He’s legit, actually he’s followed by the big media guys on Twitter.. what do you think? He’s been all over the place since the playoffs started you should know if he’s credible if he was throwing crap on the wall he wouldn’t be getting all this attention.

He is the new scoop b or incarnated Bob
I think he goes around forums to forums and posts what insiders on those forums say. For eg : Hawks forum insider has Collins for Murray since yesterday

Geez, last years trade was a real piece of garbage.
The wizards actually won more with Beal missing more time this past year than they did with Russ. They however don’t want to Extend Kuzma and Guarantee KCP at what they want. It was on nba radio.
I would happily just take back those two for Russ and let them both start. Hell spacing and defense would be solved from day one. Then you can move around Nunn and Tucker and have your exemptions

Pretty much this. Always seems to come out with the most rumours, but the least ones that become true _________________ #18 next...
As @JakeLFischer reported, the Hawks have discussed a trade involving John Collins and Spurs guard Dejounte Murray but I’m told it’s not close to happening yet.
Not saying it won’t happen, just not close this second.

The Westbrook trade was a huge mistake. No one questions that. But the injuries to Lebron and AD were the primary thing that derailed our season. If they weren't healthy at the end of the season, the supporting cast didn't matter much. If we had ended up "a playoff team" that got booted in the first round, I don't think anyone would be any happier than they are now.
I get that you want to attribute every mistake me made solely to Lebron. He certainly played a part in the mess, but there is plenty of blame to go around. Rob, Jeanie, AD, and DS all had a share in the fiasco the season became as well. Exactly how you apportion blame among the members of the gang that couldn't shoot straight is in the eye of the beholder.
The Warriors are a different situation. They aren't a "Big Three" as much as Steph, three all-star level players after him, and then a ton of good players after them. I see the two situations as fundamentally different.
