Svi for Bullock (throws in the 2nd rounder) - Svi alone should’ve been enough.

Wagner, Bonga, Jones to clear cap for Kawhi (throws in 2nd rounder) - Wagner alone should’ve been enough incentive.

And then he wonders why it’s so hard to buy into the draft.

Championship GM.

That Zubac for Muscala though, AFTER they gave Thomas Bryant up for nothing to give Zubac the roster spot. All because they stubbornly decided playmakers like Lance and Beasley were the way to go.

He won a championship in real life. You arm chair from the internet in way that you actually believe you know more than him which makes it all the more funny.

You put LBJ and AD on 29 other teams in the league and see how many other GMs look championship quality. Him winning one doesn’t mean he is immune to bad deals. By that measure, we should’ve kept Mitch forever since he won 5.

Great. Whatever moves he made got us a ring. He followed that up by making us better on paper unfortunately we got hurt. However Rob is better at his job than anybody here at his job.

Would’ve, should’ve, are easy . What we think he should do is great for banter but reality we have no idea what can and can’t be done.

My favorite is people say no one wants to help the lakers yet cry when we can’t work out deals with other teams.

We can’t work out deals with other teams because the players we are offering have such low value. Hence, we give away draft picks to make up for that deficit, and the cycle keeps repeating itself infinitely.

because we are trying to compete. we were doing the same in kobe's window

My ideal scenario is Kuz/Harrell/22 for Hield+2nd, KCP for Ingles/30th, resign Schroder, sign DeRozan for MLE/MMLE. Fill out the roster with minimum guys like Melo, Luwalet-Cabaret, Iggy, Dwight, Ish Smith, etc.

Hield, Ingles, DeRozan and Schroder add shooting, shot making and play making to our offense much more well rounded. Would like to keep Caruso, but not sure if the money works for us.

Final Roster:

Schroder/THT/Ish Smith
Hield/DeRozan/Iggy
Bron/Ingles/Luwalet-Cabaret
AD/Melo
Dwight/Gasol

KCP isn't worth Ingles and a pick and Derozan isn't signing for the MLE and especially not the MMLE

KCP is a better player than Ingles and much younger. Plus he's signed to a longer contract so it makes sense. He's a plug and play option at SG for the Jazz. Ingles is 34 and on the last year of his contract if I'm not mistaken. It's actually a fairly great outcome for the Jazz. Not seeing why you think it isn't. Getting a younger, more athletic 3&D player for a 34 yr old on his final year is a steal so it's gotta include the 30th.

DeRozan has already signaled he'd be willing to take a pay cut to go to a contender. He explicitly said as much. He also explicitly said he'd like to come to LA. Not sure why you think this is farfetched either.

Buts that’s not the narrative. Posters say teams don’t want to work with the lakers. Even when we had assets. Yet a lot of those same posters curse that we can’t negotiate with other teams. What is it?

What "terrible" trades has Rob made?

Here are his trades, in order:

1. Cash & 2nd round pick (Paul Reed) for THT (win)
2. AD trade (win - got a ring)
3. Danny Green & 1st round pick for Schroeder (push)
4. JaVale McGee and 2026 2nd round pick for McKinnie & Bell (salary cap move)

What's your beef?

I would much rather still have Danny Green and Jaden McDaniels. Both would probably get us more in a trade than Mr. I'm Worth 100 Million.

Denis play when bron and ad out kept us in playoffs. This version of green doesn’t.

Kings don't need pick #39 at all. they have 5 players on the roster who are like 3rd year or younger. Plus they'd add 2 more if they took #22 on top of their lotto pick.

I need that #39 back. the role player depth in this class is crazy. Bilas called it the best class since 03, and in terms of role player depth 1-60 I'm there

Just took the entire excitement out of tomorrows draft.
Plus I think it's a horrible trade. We need wings people, not give up the only one we have.
Buddy is good, but not worth 3 players, especially a very inexpensive asset like #22. Just wow

That’s a loaded question doc.

https://tenor.com/vfoi.gif

I think you need to ask yourself what moves hasn’t he made?

Created space for a max player to join Bron. Has he locked up a max guy yet?

Created a coaching vacancy to fill. Did he lock up our 1st choice, 2nd choice for that spot?

Couldn’t find personnel to shield Bron from playing the full time lead guard role at 35+ years old.

Bruh?! Rob’s been borderline trash so far. How does anybody see it different haha. Ask yourself, how did we get here in the first place where we have to jump through hoops to make sure we don’t run it back with just Bron being our primary playmaker again.

Bagley is gonna be a whole separate transaction. They took him over freaking Luka Doncic. They're not making him a throw-in to get the #22.

I personally hope we can hold onto KCP and send out Kuz. That would be a really good trade.

There are cap issues trying to resign Holmes for SAC...Bagley makes a good bit next year. Trading him for the #22 would essentially allow them to give Holmes the money Bagley was getting,

Bagley has more trade value and contract value than the #22. Easily a good trade for us.

1 - It's not his fault Kawhi didn't want to fill the max spot - some guys prefer BBWs to fitness models.

2 - His 3rd choice for HC won a ring.

3 - Bron at lead guard led the league in dimes and won a ring - you got a problem with that?

You cannot fault the guy for moves he didn't make - that's like blaming him for not getting Greek Freak to force his way to LA. It's not slavery - all he can do is position the team to make moves - and he has.

When Rob's Plan A falls through, he's had solid fallbacks.

1 - he won a ring with Bron being the primary playmaker

In the next 24 hours that #22 will become useless. So if Pelinca need do use it for Hield, it's ok.

Ingles is a high IQ team defender, can handle the ball and playmake and a career 40% 3pt shooter who can shoot off the dribble unlike KCP.

Besides footspeed on defense, what other aspect of basketball is KCP better at than Ingles?

You're being naive if you believe Derozan would sign for the MLE much less the MMLE.

My hope is KCP + Kuz + Trez for Hield + Delon Wright

39?

Try 9th. Then I would be happy.
