Or get 39 from the kings.

That would be fine too

What? lol Glenn Rice? Buddy is a glorified George Mccloud. This would be a horrible trade and fleece by the Kings.

He's literally one of the best volume 3-point shooters in the entire league. Of course he has deficiencies, and I'm not trying to say that he doesn't. But he can shoot off the dribble, can shoot wide open at a standstill, and, very importantly, he can get himself open coming off screens as a motion shooter and shoot it at a high percentage. He can also pass a little bit. I think you'd need a solid defensive guard next to him, but 3-point shooting is one of the most important skills in the sport, and we don't have nearly enough of it.

Just super underwhelmed by Pelinkaโ€™s stewardship thus far. None of the trades heโ€™s executed in his 4 years at the helm have shown any sort of creativity. It always just defaults to, oh throwing in our 1st round pick will get the deal done?

Svi for Bullock (throws in the 2nd rounder) - Svi alone shouldโ€™ve been enough.

Wagner, Bonga, Jones to clear cap for Kawhi (throws in 2nd rounder) - Wagner alone shouldโ€™ve been enough incentive.

And then he wonders why itโ€™s so hard to buy into the draft.

Hield is a bad defender, BMac is a terrible one. I think buddy does a more. He can shoot that three on or off the dribble, and actually has decent playmaking skills distributing the basketball.

I agree Hield is better than BMac but losing KCP will hurt. He's our fast break guard, pest of a defender, cutter and decent 3pt shooter. I really think Kuz for Hield makes more sense. Kuz can eventually be like Clarkson in a open offense and Hield wont get any better going forward.

Yikes, if Pelinka really gets swindled by the Kings by giving up pick 22 and almost giving up whatever Lakers assets that are left.

Can't speak specifically to the value proposition until we know what is actually on the table, but Pelinka has proven to be a big picture thinker. He may give value if he thinks he has a strategic fit.

Of course he does, and I'm quite certain that the Lakers view KCP as more valuable than Kuzma. He serves a far more important utility for us. In theory, Kuz's best ability is his ability to get buckets, and that's marginalized on our team because he simply doesn't have the rock enough. Let him go get buckets on a bad team.

Is that even possible if we're sending out Trez, the pick, and 1 of KUZ for Buddy?

What are we trading to the the Wizards? KCP/THT and Schroeder at 20 million a year? lmao

If Trez opts out the Lakers are going to trade their two best perimeter wing defenders, one of their best rebounders and a first round pick for a shooter.

Okay

I agree. Seems to have 0 foresight. No clue how good of a talent evaluator he is because he trades every pick from now to eternity.

That Zubac for Muscala though, AFTER they gave Thomas Bryant up for nothing to give Zubac the roster spot. All because they stubbornly decided playmakers like Lance and Beasley were the way to go.

I would have been ok with.
Delon + Hield for #22, kcp, Trez, alfonzo.
Buy a 2nd rounder.

If it's KCP, Caruso easily takes his minutes. Kuzma doesn't close games anyway. And lol at trying to frame Trez and his DNPs throughout the playoffs as a massive loss on the boards.

He won a championship in real life. You arm chair from the internet in way that you actually believe you know more than him which makes it all the more funny.

Question: do you guys think Wizards are dumb enough to do a Beal for Porzingis trade? Their contracts kind of match up.
