Considering the importance of the game, just major props to Caruso. |
It's so beautiful watching KCP/AC/AD on a string on perimeter defense. |
It’s abundantly clear that AC/KCP/Kuz/Bron/AD is our best lineup |

Too soon to tell after 1 game. We will hopefully have many more playoff games to find out. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I think only AD at the 5, with Bron running point is the automatic given in the closing minutes. Based on history and their roles, you probably want to say KCP and Caruso as well out there. But there will be nights maybe Wes is better than KCP, as he is shooting the ball well or needed more defensively, Sometimes you may wanna play bigger with KCP and Wes together and add more 3 point shooting.
I do not believe there is a fixed closing lineup with this group, and I believe there can be games where Dennis is closing as well. I just hope Frank does not see Dennis as an auto closer. AD at the 5, Bron at point on offense = autos. The rest based on how the player is playing that night, or match up based.
Could be Wes-KCP-Dennis
Could be KCP-Dennis-Caruso
Could be Kuz-Wes-KCP
etc.
I am not married to any closing lineup, should be match up based. |

Make some fake crime ,arrest him and say to judge that this guy cannot leave California in the future. I don't care what Lakers need to do but this kind of guys are brining you chips. I will not say he is Fisher-esque but not far from that. Clutch player, smart, great defensively and above all teammate you can only wish for. |

The only variation on it is Wes/Kieff/Schröder. I think that's your 8-man playoff rotation with Gasol/Drummond against bigger centers. _________________ Under New Management |

Great impact on defense when it matters once again.
I really liked the AC/Wes/KCP lineup tonight. |

Absolutely. I am not even saying about specific skills or anything. The presence is what makes him close to Fish. |

Caruso had develop a special connection with Lebron . Last year playoff run already validated that. So he is MUST on our team. |

I seriously think he should be considered for all-nba defense. We're the #1 defense in the league but we may not have anybody on the all-nba defense list. |

Imagine how exhausting it would be to play a 7 game series against those guys. They can have two strong perimeter defenders on the court throughout the whole game. |

(bleep) DS and his ego for getting in the way. |
I do not think it matters to Caruso or Vogel if he starts. What matters is Alex is given enough time to make an imprint on the game, which usually we do give him. For example, we do not do that with Gasol, and we should be at least giving him a 4 min run in the 1st half to showcase if he can be valuable that night.
To me, guys like Caruso, Gasol, Wes have a lot more value at this time of year than guys like Dennis, Dre, Trez etc. Even though the latter are far more talented individually, Lebron-AD need the talents of Caruso-Wes-Gasol moreso at the playoff level. Not to say you do not play those other guys, but the leash has to be a lot tighter. |

Been saying this all along, we already have our superstars. We need better role players that surround them better and better fit to our identity of our team which is defense. We need better fit, not better talents.

Caruso had 5 huge plays in the final 2:30. Lakers are down 3 with 2:30 to play and he forces the turnover, makes a great play to inbound fast, has 3 great passes to create 6 points. |
