Solid game from Kuz. Continuing to play with energy and staying within his game not forcing things.

Kuzma was playing hard and made some good plays out there. He looks more patient out there with the ball, his assist to AD under the basket in the 4th was really nice.

I’m good with Kuz - he brought it all game and you can tell he wants it.

Quietly efficient and excellent tonight, well done KUZ.

He definitely let the game come to him. Nothing forced.

Absolutely. He's a guy you're good with in the playoffs now. Sometimes it's sexy, sometimes it's boring work, but he's going to bring it on the little things every night regardless of whether or not his shot is falling.

Well it looks like Kuz has been letting the game comes to him and doing a little bit of everything . Consistently.

He had some really great reads and passes tonight. Plays in the past where he either forces it or turns the ball over. And he pulled down some tough boards. He's turning himself into a heady "vet" player Ala Rick Fox/ Ron Harper.

Dude’s an underrated passer. He’s been showing flashes of Lamar Odom recently. Maybe not as explosive but he’s been ask to pass more, initiate more, rebound more, etc.

Solid game from Kuz. Nothing special but he did some good passes and few steals. Overall he contributed positively.

This was Kuz’s worst playoff performance. It’s not even about not scoring, he was terrible at all the little things he has built in his game to become a trusted contributor.

Looked like he didn’t know there was a game today.

I will wait end of playoffs to make conclusions about any player on our team. Bad games happens sometimes and no one can be judged by one game. Cant wait to see his response in next one.

He (and a lot of the Lakers) looked a bit shook and nervous out there. He was fumbling the ball and his shot didn't look right either.

Kuz is a low IQ, mental midget. Has always been.
Expect something better from him on game 2. He couldn't play any worse.
The whole team could play better. Got totally punked by the Suns and we barely lost....

i guess based off this thread, we can tell who Kuz really is - inconsistent. i don't even know the exact role of him on this team now.
if Jeanie doesn't mind, i really hope we trade him this off season as he does have some value.

Kuzma needs the coach to call a few plays for him. He is too good of a player to only take 2 shots. I blame the coaching for him only getting 2 shots in a playoff game.

Kuz at least brings the effort. Again look at some of the piss poor effort our main guys are putting out there on the court, not going after loose balls, not getting back in transition, Kuz for all his flaws goes hard at all times

It is absolutely hilarious how this thread ONLY gets traction after a subpar game.

Blame the guy coming off the bench, playing a total of 19 mins who got 2 shots and absolutely NEVER has a single play called for him.

Kuz will go down in Laker lore as the biggest scapegoat I have ever seen.

Lets act as if the Lakers losing had absolutely nothing to do with Dennis playing O-lay defense.

Or Bron and AD having absolutely no sense of urgency and that mentality trickling down to the rest of the team.

Or nothing to do with AD getting completely OWNED by Ayton.

Or nothing to do with KCP missing damn near every wide open 3 he took.

How about Bron missing crucial free throws and the entire team missing 11 in total?

Out of all the reasons the Lakers tricked off that game, Kuzma is damn near at the bottom of the list.

^I get what you are saying.

Kuz is not to blame. He just had a poor performance all around and that’s fine, it happens with role players.

Mr. $20 million I want to start and the 2 stars were most to blame to go along with Vogel’s rotations.

LOL too much love for kuz here, even if he has a bad game he gets a pass because he's a role player. Just bench his assand they will ok. At least wes is consistent on defense.
