Pretty sure that happens every time he puts on a Laker uniform and enters the arena.

Why does everyone have to support his outside interests? Do you support Shaq in Shazam. How about Kobe in his all white photo shoot?

Players venturing out into other areas of entertainment deserve to be treated fairly and judged according to the work. Some may not like the new Space Jam. Its ok to express it without being judged.

Are you going off on my post or just venting?
It was mostly in jest because him watching the movie in itself supported James regardless of his criticism. I'm not judging him. How one rates movies are mostly subjective anyway, so there's no point to get riled up about someone's take on a movie.

Not sure if I misinterpreted or not.

I took it as an all too common criticism of anyone that does not β€œsupport” James to the poster’s liking.

If that is not your intention. I stand corrected.

i'm halfway through space jam as we have HBO Max. yeah, it's not that good. lebron is fine, but the set up is super confusing. they are trying to do a sorta Tron/space jam mashup with Don Cheadle as "MCP", which is not a bad idea, but it's not very coherent.

i kept thinking... why blow all this money unless the script is at least passable?

You β€œblow all that money” because it doesn’t matter how good it is.

The movie and merchandise will make a few hundred million dollars at a minimum.

Thought it dragged a bit but overall I enjoyed the movie… my 5, 8, 9 year old daughter and nephews loved it. Nephews watched the movie like 2 times already and dragging me to watch it at the theatre. It’s exactly what I expected from a movie that stars Lebron. Some parts are way over the top. Story is not as bad as everyone is saying. I like the message behind it.

Yea you can see the personality difference between the two. Just weird seeing Bron act a bit out of his character tho being that serious father.

So, now that I understand LeBron's position of wanting his buddy CP3 to get a ring, I can truly say he can go cry w/CP3 when/if they lose. I absolutely never want any other team than my Lakers coming out of the West. I ain't no spread the wealth around when it comes to championships kind of fan.

LeBron, because he has multiple rings, is apparently open to sharing rings with a division foe. Me, I'd rather the ring go out east until we reclaim what is our Lakers birthright.

Yeah, I said it. A Laker birthright is champioships! Spoiled like a child. Yep, that's me. I want all the championships! CP3 can have one IF he joins us.
