I apologize for sucker punching Rob. What’d you expect tho, dudes a sucker.
Anyways, I really regret my action in particular to Rob’s family. Sorry Mamba, but dude doesn’t deserve your co-sign. Never did! You better at telling stories than he is, sitting up there with your Oscar.
As a result, I will take a few days away from the team, but want the rest of the fam to know, I’ll be back bust’n his balls again soon.. In the meantime, I’ll work on myself to be better. After all…hurt people, hurt people. And bruh, am I hurtin!
Btw, this has everything to do with salary. Da f*** Jeanie thinking continuing to pay that man?

Looks like Jeannie's philosophy for the Lakers is simple.....just kick the can down to road.
She has absolutely zero vision, and it really pains me to say that because I really like her. But the contract extensions she's giving out are proof that she doesn't know what she's doing. Sad because she worked so closely with her father and learned nothing about how to build a winning team that the fans can get behind. |

Jeanie's inability to forge relationships/hire outside of the Lakers family is going to be the death of this franchise. |

| Well, maybe Rob will start to think a little longer term. The last few years Rob's been playing fantasy basketball. He keeps AD and LeBron, dumps everyone else and redrafts a new team around them. Definitely not the typical way of building a contending team I'll give him that. |

| Not gonna lie I was surprised that it was a four year extension. I wasn't surprised that he was extended but the length of time was a bit surprising. I don't know what I thought, really LOL. But anyway it's happened now so Rob you betta werk it out! |

| So for the dissapointments of the last two seasons, Vogel got fired through Twitter and Pelinka got an extension. The future looks grim for us, it seems that nepotism is the norm in the Lakers organization. |

A team that won a championship as recent as 2020 and has stars like Lebron, AD etc is not run into the ground. It's more that we're not run by the most potent and qualified people. So, for every good move they make, they usually concede 5 shoot yoursleves in the foot moves along with it.
As a Lakers fan, I am just grateful we're not on the Knicks level. We easily could have been. We won a title, just 4 years after Kobe retired. Think about that, how quick that was. Teams have to wait decades. Some never do.
With that in mind, being mediocre a few years, it's all right. Certainly the standards set by Dr Buss are not being met, but we were never realistically ever going to. Just be grateful at least we're not the Knicks/Dolan level. I wish we had better qualified people in charge, but for whatever reason, despite this, the Lakers continue to find ways to win championships.
The key here may be what we do with the draft picks and capspace moving forward and how much of a positive net value the younger Buss kids bring to the table. If they don't panic and make more shoot yourself in the foot moves, at the start of 2023 summer we sit in a pretty solid spot with AD to trade, all our draft picks in tact, 30-35M in capspace, Lebron on possibly a last year deal. Things are not as bad as it seem if you can just escape this year without doing anything stupid.
Now lets see if they refrain from doing anything stupid from November to June. Fingers crossed. |

This team will implode sooner than later. Lebron saying openly that the team is not good and only seems to care about his scoring record. Westbrook already throwing the coach under the bus claiming it caused his fake injury. Beverly running around like an idiot. Its only a matter of time before he (Beverly) rubs someone the wrong way.
