Would love to see Nance go down there and wreck shop for a spell. I'm guessing he'd get something along the lines of 16pts, 15 boards, 2 blocks... and two posterizatons.

Tonight’s game was the first of a back-to-back series versus the Los Angeles.
He needs to have a heart-to-heart discussion with METTA WORLD PEACE.
......... ASAP
This is why he's is the d league. The potential is huge, but he is still learning the game. He needs a year or two of development before he will be ready for the NBA.
In his defense a bit though, d league is a shoot first guard league. There's not a lot of inside out offense, and the defensive focus in general is pretty suspect for most teams. _________________ “This goes far beyond paychecks”

Brown would definitely be the DPOY in that league. He is locking some guys down and his teammates are letting everyone else score at will. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

D-Fenders Earn Split With Vipers
HIDALGO, TX – The Los Angeles D-Fenders bounced back from Friday’s overtime loss to split their weekend series with Rio Grande Valley, 126-109 Saturday at State Farm Arena.
Malcolm Thomas led the D-Fenders with 28 points and 18 rebounds. Manny Harris followed with 23 points. Vander Blue added 21 points. Los Angeles Lakers assignee Anthony Brown scored 18 points. Josh Magette and Justin Harper recorded 10 points each.
Raphiael Putney led with Vipers with a career-high 27 points and added 10 rebounds. Chris Walker scored a double-double 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jarvis Threatt tallied 18 points. Jaron Johnson scored 13 points, followed by Will Cummings with 12 points.
Los Angeles won the first quarter, 35-30 behind 10 points apiece from Harris and Thomas. Threatt also scored 10 of his 18 total points in the first quarter to lead RGV.
The Vipers fought back to outscore the D-Fenders 24-19 in the second quarter. Los Angeles’ 19 second quarter points were the lowest scored in a quarter by a Vipers opponent this season. At the buzzer, Putney connected on a three-pointer to tie the game at 54 points at the half.
The score tied five times during the third quarter before the D-Fenders took control. Los Angeles outscored RGV 72-55 in the second half to win the game 126-109 and split the weekend series.
When the Los Angeles Lakers drafted Anthony Brown out of Stanford, it was destined for him to become the team’s prototypical small forward amongst a dynamic group in today’s NBA. Brown’s role is simple, and that is to show a consistent three-point shot and bring defense on the perimeter.
While the part he must play sounds simple and readily available, the team understands that Brown will need just a little more time to get his feet wet on the professional level.
Least people can understand how MUCH time Upshaw needs now hopefully.
Yeah, Upshaw is far, far, far away from being an NBA player.
He is definitely a project player at this point. Hopefully, in time, he pans out.
Nobody thought he was ready to go, just that it feels more secure to let him develop down there on a Lakers contract in case he gets it sooner rather than later

Yeah, we are taking a risky gamble in that respect.
