Upside: Hedo Turkoglu/Andrea Bargnani
Average: Matt Bonner (Spurs)
Downside: Nikoloz Tskitishvili

Highlights that don't include his stellar Miami game.

Size:
1. Height – 6’9.75” w/o shoes. 6’11.75” w/shoes
2. Wingspan – 6'11.5"
3. Weight – 228
4. Body Fat – 14.8%
5. Standing Reach - 9' 2"

Athleticism:
Average athletic abilities. Shows fair first step when attacking the basket. Likes to go up with two hands going for dunk, which highlights his standing reach. Surprising low post base and still has a way to go in terms of strength. Holds position well and has quick hands. Gets blocked shots based on timing/reflexes instead of outright quickness and explosiveness, but is able to block shots off of his assignment at the NCAA level. May have issues against stretch PFs that can put the ball on the floor. Good foundation of perimeter footwork; 1-2 dribble pull up, spin move, drop step. Will utilize shooting touch over a power finish at the rim.

Skill Level:
1. Offense
• Perimeter Play - Known for his spot up ability from NCAA 3pt. range, but is able to dribble 2x before attempting to create a higher percentage shot. Not one to change direction 2x on the same drive, very upright stance on his jumpshot. Can attack in high post situations; reads the defenses well and attacks the gaps. Crafty, soft touch in the paint. Ball movement. Shot selection. High IQ. Always creates a passing lane for a kickout on the shot. His 1.7A/TO ratio is a glowing sign of his unselfishness and courtawareness. That is outstanding for a PF.

Great size at PF, but has limited post moves in the paint, mostly resembling a stepback jumpshot from 10'. At the NBA level, he has a size advantage over most, so there's room to grow on the block.

• Short game (0’-7’) – Consists of spin moves or a stepback jumpshot.

• Midrange game (8’-18’) – Pull up jumpshot off-the-dribble.

• Long range (19’-23'9" or longer) – His specialty, spot up shooting. 42.2% behind the NCAA arc.

2. Defense
In man defense situations, holds good stance and anticpation. Knows his opponent and plays to their weaknesses; e.g. gives up jumpshot over drive. Hands up and active causes a lot of deflections.

Off-the-ball he's more surprising, considering he has 1.6 blocks per game. He's experienced with defending PnR situations against jumpshooters and keeps an active motor to try to create a turnover.

Rebounding
5.3rpg in 28.8mpg. He did play alongside the Plumlee brothers, who were dominant on the backboard, but there is room for growth here.

Conclusion: Brings legit 7' size, hoop IQ, and soft touch. The question mark will be his health. He's coming off of foot surgery, which may have led to the high body fat %. Still, with added strength, he'll be able to stay on the floor for extended periods of time by holding position in the post defensively, never getting into foul trouble, and being able to knock down open shots.

Talented big man with foot problems when young. Yowee.

Our group forecast these health problems continuing for him at draft time, but considering his skills, length and potential for a few years of work here or there, not a bad risk for a late second round pick. One more year on the cheap and he's gonna be booted from this league unless he proves healthy enough for, ohhh, more than forty game appearances next year.
