Maybe the Lakers didn't do it? Is it not possible that a Lakers fan did it, and the Lakers like it and shared it?

but but but we are the lakers, we don't ask players to stay, players ask us to keep them...

Times have changed people, everybody knows that the impact of Dwight leaving will be twice as bad as the vetoed CP3 deal.

The CP3 deal already put us back about a couple years, Dwight walking will put us back another 4-6 years.

We will have no choice but to rebuild.

Sorry untill the Lakers themselves say it's fake. I wont believe you. Since it was them that posted it. Your pic could have been made any time.

What's so funny. The Lakers put a misleading photo up. Anyone would have got fooled. They could have said it was photoshoped when it was posted. You laughing because people like me who believed it is not cool at all.

It was funny because I was standing in front of the building.

I think this open the doors to franchise cheesiness. A new era of Laker management style has begun.

We know we're beat. It's going to take an intervention to keep him out of Houston at this point. I'm not sure I see why he'd go to Dallas, unless Cuban just pulls off an amazing sales job. They're pretty much in the same boat we are, whereas Houston is for sure his best bet for next season and possibly beyond.

2014 is so big. If he stays I think the Lakers can lure a big time player. If he goes I'm not sure how appealing they'll be. Might have to carry the capspace over for a few years and kinda suck on the court.

Beat? It isn't even July yet. Howard has not even heard pitches. You going to believe rumors? Broussard's rumors??????

Go join Doc you quitter!

I'm just kidding, I've just been wanting to call someone a Doc Rivers ever since he's been labelled a quitter.

Go back a page, I went by and took a picture for all of you.

The Beverly Hills hotel would never do something like that come on. You can barely even see that part of the hotel from the street, so it doesn't even make marketing sense.

I understand what the Lakers PR / Marketing department is trying to accomplish with these Dwight billboards / photoshop campaign. They are trying to show how Dwight could be a major star in Los Angeles / Hollywood. Not only for basketball reasons but for entertainment / endorsements and acting opportunities as well. This is what Dwight says he has always wanted.

Or maybe we are ruining the jig. Dwight is out of town, and were trying to make him think we paid for all this advertising?

The photoshops don't cost anything. It's basically free publicity. The Lakers have a huge following/network on Twitter and Facebook. Messages spread fast when the Lakers send out a message on Twitter or Facebook. However I heard they have put up a around a half dozen billboards around the city of Los Angeles and that cost $$$. Someone said just one of them cost $800K.
