All we need is Dwight Howard and a PG who can pass it to him when he is in good position. THAT IS ALL!

The Magic win games with Dwight surrounded by scrubs. How many 20/20s has Bynum scored. Now how many has Dwight scored?

You think teams will triple team or even double team Kobe if Dwight is under the hoop waiting for the ball?

How many times have the Magic been outrebounded with offensive rebounds? Not much while Dwight is on the court thats for sure.

Forget CP3, forget D.Will. We don't need to spend all our money on a PG. All we need is Kobe and Dwight surrounded by young, fast and well-defending players who can shoot the (bleep) ball when they are open.

THAT IS ALL! Get Dwight, and THEY WILL COME!

Who didn't touch the ball the last 5 minutes, prior to being subbed, in the third, thanks to Darius THE FUTURE Morris.

Do that trade, and we'd get Hedo too. Then use the TPE on a PG.

Yeah, im THAT desperate that I'd do that

lol threads getting locked like mad. Terrible loss, I thought we'd be able to put up a better fight than that. Especially with wade out, and a couple days rest.

Oh well, look forward to tomorrow I guess!

Even though the tri is sometimes boring as hell to watch, it did put players in the correct position to rebound and get back on D when run properly and shots taken at the right time... it's mostly this cluster***k on offense that is causing the poor rebounding (total) due to turnovers and generally sloppy play with the ball.. there is enough talent on the team, it's just poorly organized (coached) at the moment....

In some parallel universe, that vile (bleep) Stern didn't veto that CP3 trade, and a couple days after that, we shipped Bynum to Orlando for Dwight. And in that parallel universe, Kobe, Dwight, and CP3 are killing the league right now.

God I wish I was there right now

Tomorrow they need to win, I am worried this team could go into a prolonged road skid without Blake. Morris is such a huge dropoff that they need to figure something else out, maybe look to sign someone to a 10-day contract.

The Lakers are what they are whether Blake plays or not, they are just a. 600 team. All us Laker fans have to come to the realization that this is not a championship team, but a team that is on the way to start rebuilding. We are going to have to live withKobe's decline and his final days before he retires . And we're going to have to live with a sucky sub playoff team for years to come until its our turn again. This is what the NBA wants, parity, and no more dynasties.

This is the only stat I care about. Why in god's earth would Brown play kobe that long in a blowout with another game coming up tomorrow?

What you saw at the end of that game was "Kobe Ball"
And look what wondered it did? Brought us close to 9.

Look this feed the bigs stuff doesn't work. Look what wonders happen when kobe is aggressive?

You say, why wasn't he aggressive from the start, why was he starting at the three point line watching and occasionally taking bail out long jumpers? Because that was the game plan. Look what happened when he ditched it? He scored the lakers last 13 points in 4 mins and about 2 assists to go with it.

honestly i don't know why getting odom back isn't a possibility. the mavs probably regret trading for him, his value has to be non-existent, and he could actually playmake and feed the post for the team with little adjustment RIGHT NOW, assuming he doesn't listen to brown.

I agree with you... although "the feed the bigs stuff" can work if Mike Brown can draw a play to save his life. His offense just looks terrible... plus we can't make any 3s so defenders can just gamble to double/triple team freely.

He was being doubled. he had no choice but to get rid of it. Spoelstra gameplanned the defense on Kobe. Double teamed him whenever possible. Wouldn't you agree that Battier is a decent defender on kobe? They double teamed him anyways so they can get the ball out of his hands. Disrupted our whole offense ( or whatever you call it now).
