This will not be the same pushover Jazz team we saw last. Not only are they playing much better, they'll be in SLC.

Gonna be a tough game, Andrew is going to have to step it up, these past few games have been disappointing for him.

Must win. Can't keep losing on the road, esp with road games that are coming up.

They are undefeated at home, I hope the Lakers can give Utah's first L at home.

Not looking forward to seeing the guys play 5-on-8 tomorrow like what usually happens in Utah.

Fish will finally have a decent game, people hate him there more than anywhere else so he will give it his all.

Utah may come out looking for revenge or to prove a point. The rest of our team has to stand up and help Kobe. Last night, Kobe had to bring them out of the slump and get it going.. we can't always do that. That being said, I expect Kobe to continue where he left off.

Side note: I LOVE LAKER BASKETBALL!!!

Lakers Shorthanded in Utah

For the second consecutive game, the Lakers will be without the services of all three of their preseason free agent acquisitions for Wednesday’s contest in Utah: Troy Murphy (gastroenteritis); Josh McRoberts (sprained left big toe); and Jason Kapono (personal).

That McRoberts will miss a sixth straight game was expected, though he did travel with the team to continue to rehabilitate his toe. Murphy was hoping to join the team in Salt Lake City but remains sick, while Kapono will stay in Los Angeles with his wife and their brand new twin girls, born on Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

Helping to fill the collective void in Tuesday’s win over Phoenix was Luke Walton, who played mostly power forward while amassing six points, eight rebounds (five offensive), three assists and a steal in 26 minutes. Steve Blake, meanwhile, had eight assists off L.A.’s bench, the most he’s had since joining the Lakers prior to last season (previous: seven @ N.Y. on 2/11/11).

Metta World Peace could also see some action at the power forward slot, where he pitched in against Phoenix, grabbing some of his seven rebounds.

Not really. Coming back down to earth. Can't expect too much from him.

I'd like to see more scoring from him but can only imagine that it will come in waves.

Still early I guess.

I hope so. It's his former team. IIRC, Artest played well against Sac, Murphy and Barnes played well against GSW, and Gasol played well against Memphis.

To be a championship team, you have to win on the road. Hope the team gets it's first road win
