Can Lakers just win..Why are people focusing on how many shots Kobe;s gonna take? Or how many points Kobe's gonna score.... its not Kobe vs Rockets.. jeez.. chill on all that.. moving on
Because Kobe is stupid sometimes about taking 35 shots one game and 7 shots the next. Does that answer your question?
For the Lakers to be the best they could be, everyone has to be consistently giving 100%. 28 then 7 shot attempts is not consistent. Furthermore, it says there is a problem in the ranks.
Kevin Martin is usually good for 30 against us( half of that coming from the free throw line), Scola will abuse Pau. Lowry is gonna kill our PG's as usual. Hopefully Kobe breaks out his slump and Drew has another big game, Hope we actually make some open shots otherwise it could be a long night.
Kyle Lowry leads the league in assists. 11.5 per game. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

With JMR out tonight, I'd like to see more activity and aggression from Troy Murphy - in both on the boards and in shooting open 3's. He gets a lot of looks but I see him pass them up. If he's open, I think he should take it.
We're gonna miss JMR's activity and hustle. If Tory is just active tonight, he can really help us. _________________ Everything. Changes.

Yea, he needs to knock down those open 3s for us tonight. I think he is still getting comfortable with the team, so maybe some more playing time will boost his confidence. I've seen him get the ball on the arc and hesitate too much (aka Ron's move). Also, he needs to stop fouling so much. I think he fouled out once already this year, maybe the kings game.
Watching the FSN pregame show. Good job, Norm. Long missed shots = easy transition baskets. What part of that doesn't Mike Brown and Kiki Vanderweigh understand? Don't get me wrong, I like both of them, but I'm surprised at how they emphasize transition defense without the obvious forethought to simply limit the opportunities.
Phil Jackson was right when he said a good offense is your best transition defense.
