LA - 97
Den- 93

This time around the Lakers close out on the 3 point shots, and don't rely on missed free throws and a blown layup to close it out. I also think a refocused Blake is going to work wonders for the team. I have no doubt that Brown watched the tape of the game with his staff all night in order to prepare the team for the tricky Nuggets offense. Bynum has a more modest 22/10 while Kobe tries to take over at times due to being on the road. Gasol will have his usual 16/7 or so. GO LAKERS.

Coach Karl is going to pay more attention to Bynum. They are going to shrink the floor and our guards are going to have to make some of those 3's.

Here's to hoping they bounce back.

If they try to shrink the floor Kobe will be able to get off, and I don't mean just shooting, he will be able to create rhythm for the offense...When you have a true big that has skill level it really creates problems.

I just realized we haven't won a road game since the first round of the playoffs in game 6 at NO last season.

Yesterday our starters carried us to a win. Today the Peace Corps needs to have a great game for us to win this game.

I kinda agree. I think the key will be the LALbench vs DENbench match-up. We should be careful about their perimeter because they have guys who can have really hot hands from outside the arc.

New system, new coach, new rotation(s), Kobe wrist, and on the road.

You might be right about this game/score.

Let's see, that would include two games in Dallas, one game w/ Clippers, one game in Sac. That's only 4 games in span of 8 months and only 1 of those count this season. It's not that bad.

If they come up short tonight, you could technically say they're winless on the road for the entire year and watch the FMB (Fire Mike Brown) folks go nuts. It will be ok, there's still a lot of fine-tuning going on, so we all have to be a patient.

Not a bad record, good thing the Nuggets are also on a b2b and have a couple of teammates still stuck in China this season.

That may not hold true this season. Few of the Nugz have probably acclimated to Denver's altitude due to the abbreviated preseason.

Tough game - I think Drew was running on a ton of adrenaline yesterday but hopefully he still puts in a solid 20/10 performance this evening. He was effective in Q4 long after the point where he said he felt winded, and I think that's a very good sign.

I don't think we'll go 2 for 24 from outside tonight either, and I think Kobe is likely to have a better outing. MWP too for that matter.

Denver has a lot they can improve on too; we'll see which team is best at fixing holes.

I say:
Lakers 91
Nuggets 84

Will you folks in LA get this game on NBA League Pass, or will it be blacked out? I know you get road games on KCAL, but was wondering about League Pass.

A quality win on the road will validate the defense.
