Both teams will be play sloppy and tired. If Bynum was gassed today, he'll be worse tomorrow so feed the big dog early in both halves to get the most out of him while he's fresh.

Remember, 2nd game of a B2B, in denver so they have the flight followed by the long bus ride. And lastly, the altitude will be a factor in players getting winded quickly(especially bigs).

Has this ever happened before? Back-to-back against the same team?

Yeah, I think we did it vs Sacramento last season. It's not that rare. Like once every season or 2.

The Warriors under Don "no def" Nelson, who likes to go with Al Harrington at Center, that Warriors team?

Regarding the last B2B, correct he coached there that season. Apparently there was no D for On Nelson or the Warriors for that matter.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Lakers close a game out for once since I wrote them off with about 4min to go. If they are serious, they have to win this game to make up for the two dumb losses to open the season. Have to take steps forward game to game and this is a game Lakers should win. Now, a 10+ game winning streak or so would be a way to build some chemistry, given who the opposition is coming up it's doable even with the Rose Garden trip. Lets do it.

Thanks for posting this, I thought for sure the Lakers would be arriving near midnight. Guess they get to celebrate New Year's a bit and then have a noon shoot around.

Kobe has been playing well in Nuggets. He will rebound from his almost triple double game.

It's exciting to see what kind of adjustments coach will make in the second back-to-back game. MVP's role should be adjusted or readjusted. I don't care as far as MVP can find his rhythm again.

Some roster need to practice three balls to get more consistent shots. It's frustrating to see the roller coaster beyond the arch.

NOT MUCH TIME FOR KNEE REHABILITATION.
But that's a good thing. That's a really good thing.

Denver favored this time by 5.5 points (yesterday the Lakers were favored by that same spread).

Refs:
B. Kennedy
T. Nunez Jr.
L. Wood

Leon Wood might be the most incompetent ref in the Association.

Coach Karl is going to pay more attention to Bynum. They are going to shrink the floor and our guards are going to have to make some of those 3's.

Here's to hoping they bounce back.
