my ideal/lineup rotation
gasol/murphy
mcrob/murphy/artest/puke
ebanks/barnes/kapono
kobe/morris/kapono
blake/glock/fisher
if ebanks and blake hit their open shots, and if mcrob hustles for boards, putbacks, and lobs from our playmakers, we have a shot to steal this game. |

Basically it will be both team's 3rd pre-season game, only this one will count.
Teams normally have 2 months of regular season play before the Christmas games.
This time they only have only 2 preseason games.
I expect all the games to be sloppy. _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman |

the game depends on our role players.
kobe will get atleast 20-25 points. same with gasol. that's 50 points (max). where will the other, say, 40 points come from? |

Really have no idea what to expect out of today's game. I'm just glad basketball is BACK!
It will probably be sloppy. I'm hoping the Lakers can come out of this back to back to back 2-1. |

I hope the Lakers will win and I am pretty confident. Although, to me, the Chicago Bulls are the best team in the NBA, my favorites for the title and D.Rose is my favorite for the MVP.
They can only improve (except for Boozer) and D.Rose has no limits and will dominate the league in the next years, no doubts about it.
But hopefully, today, Pau & Kobe will show their self-pride and win the game for the Lakers.
The matchup Pau-Noah is a clearly in favor of the Spaniard, so I just hope they'll try to look for him each and every time. Deng is tough challenge for Ebanks; if he makes it, it'll give him a lot of credit for the rest of the season.
R.Hamilton vs Kobe will be nice to watch. I don't know who will be the PF, but Boozer is no threat in the paint, so I am not that concerned.
Of course D.Rose will destroy any PG we have, so it's a lost battle there.
Hopefully we'll watch a nice game with an eletric atmosphere from the Staples (like game 7 against the Celtic ). If the crowd pushes their team, it's a win.

Broadband pass on NBA is currently down, so can't watch the game right now... They had better get this fixed by the time the Lakers are on _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

Wonder how kobe will play with all his personal issues. Even the black mamba isnt immune to possibly spending his first xmas without his girls. |

Quote: | Opening Day Line Up
With Andrew Bynum serving a 4-game suspension and Metta World Peace moving to the bench to help spark the offense in Lamar Odom’s absence, here’s a look at Coach Mike Brown’s opening day line up:
PG: Derek Fisher
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Devin Ebanks
PF: Josh McRoberts
C: Pau Gasol
Bryant will play through a torn ligament in his wrist, while the rest of the starting Lakers are healthy. World Peace will be among the first players off the pine, joined by Steve Blake, Jason Kapono and Troy Murphy, while we should also see some time for Matt Barnes.
Chicago will counter with Derrick Rose, new Bull Richard Hamilton, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah. Look for Gasol to at times guard Boozer, letting McRoberts handle the lesser offensive threat in Noah.
