| David Checketts reported it ended on a Utah radio station, but it was almost immediately denied by league officials. but i wouldn't be surprised if the league lied. |

What would be the point of lying about it?
If they really had a deal, they'd want the fans to know.

don't know, but they are negotiating with small groups and the small groups have always made progress. It remains to be seen if the respective parties have communicated the deal to their constituents. |

If they were even close to thinking about finalizing the details before inking the deal, they'd have said something by now.
There's too much money at stake to keep things "quiet". Every second that clicks off the clock while it looks like there may be no NBA season, things look worse for the league.
If they were going lie about anything, it wouldn't be to cover up that they had come to a deal.

The owners offered to increase the share of BRI by 0.001% per an hour of negotiation.
You need 100 hours to move that 1 digit two 0.1%.
Or 1000 hours to being 1%.
That was what happened.
So, judging from the hardline 47% offer, you can conclude that at least 3,000 hours of negotiation have elapsed to get to this ground-breaking and earth shattering 50-50 offer.
Basic math: Hardliner offer 47% + (3,000 hours x 0.001% per hour)
But don't worry, we are only 2,000 negotiation hours away to get to 52%.
I can wait. No big deal. Besides, NBA is boring. I would rather post in LG.
