I can't imagine anything better than winning back to back titles and avenging our 2008 loss to the Celtics.

I'm happy for Kobe and for Ron. They are good guys who get a bad rap.

Go Lakers!

The fight the guys put up to take this was incredible. The way Game 7 went down with Kobe's shot off and him picking up the boards, Pau missing... then making his throws... Ron being BIG after being criticized so much... Fish making the huge 3 after not being able to be much of a factor (save Gm 3)... Sasha hitting those throws after a shaky season...

... an ending even Hollywood couldn't have scripted better.

We are the Champions, my friends

And we'll keep on fighting till the end

We are the Champions. We are the Champions

No time for losers (Celtics)

'Cause we are the Champions of the World

Gotta post in this thread. This title is one of the most gratifying to witness and be a part of as a fan. I was 6 years old in '85, so I don't remember that one too much. I will have to be satisfied with this one being the most memorable, especially in recent memory, but given who we beat and how hard it was, I'll take that any day.

An incredible ending to a great season. Even got my kids (8 and 6) to watch it with me and hopefully they'll remember it as much as I will.

WE ARE THE CHAMPS!!! WOWOWOWOWOW! Last night was one of the greatest nights of my life. I was with friends at a sports bar and we made like 20 new friends! It was simply so much fun cheering at the top of my lungs for every possession and getting the whole crowd at BJs into it.

LAKERS 2010 BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS!!!

I watched Wilt Chamberlain win the title just a few years back when I was a kid, way back when Kareem was a Western Conference enemy with Milwaukee. That title was incredible because it broke an absolutely huge streak of Laker title series losses, mostly imposed by the Celtics but with some help from the Knicks.

I've had the pleasure of seeing every Laker title run since. Every time I started thinking a Laker dynasty was over, a new one would begin.

Every title is special. The first title in a streak is always special. Seeing spectacular basketball like the Showtime area was special. However, any series where we beat the Celtics ranks a level of it's own above all other championships.

The ups and downs this team went through, the personal stories of downfall and redemption behind Kobe and Ron Artest, the harrowing life-and-death experiences affecting Congo Cash and, in a different way, Derek's daughter, LO enduring the loss of his child, the way Kobe had to carry this team as it was rebuilding, the rude, arrogant, unsportsmanlike conduct of the Celtics and their fans when the Lakers lost the title match 2 years ago, the 'soft' moniker unfairly landed on Pau and the rest of this team, and seeing how this team went from nearly imploding to becoming champions again, wow this is definitely special.

Beating the Celtics in game 7, by sheer willpower, playing tougher and refusing to back down on every possession, coming back from down 13 in the second half, and Ron delivering in so many dimensions on the promise he made to Kobe 2 years ago... Wow. Game 7 was not ugly to me; it was priceless.
