As soon as he made the shot and began to celebrate I knew he was going to hit the ref (unintentionally)

Its too bad we couldn't take advantage of it. Pierce had a hot start but then started to get passive after this.

It's any players dream to punch the ref one good time in the face...Pierce got away with it and its ridiculous. Then, Rasheed is allowed to say every word in the swearing dictionary and only gets a technical for it. That's another missed ejection....Nate Robinson is allowed to get up in Lamar's face like that when he's only 4 foot 1? Yes I'm aware he got a technical for it but hell, that's damn near like starting a fight...and since when are you allowed to expose yourself in public, much less on the basketball court. KG sitting there hiking his shorts up like people care to see that mess...

Why, so they can start somebody who will actually do something besides pass? No thanks, let him play 48 min. Granted he had a DECENT game in game 4 but I want him in there all the time.

This was actually the only time I've ever liked Paul Pierce. Sure, 10 seconds later I hated him again, but for that brief moment he was my hero.

He probably complained to the official afterward saying he deserved free throws for his face making contact with his fist.

Ron would have been ejected. Given his history, the ref would have assumed it was intentional.

There's no way Pierce should have been ejected or even given a technical for that. It was clearly accidental and wasn't even a real punch. The ref was OK after about 5 seconds. It happens. Get over it.

Besides, I'm sure we all found it amusing that Rush got hit in the face. He deserved it because all of his horrible calls against us.

Anyone find a picture or stillframe of it? I think we should call Paul Pierce "Punchy" from now on.

I see. So in your opinion, it's okay to punch someone accidentally
