how about that. those Bynum bashers never watch nor understand the game of basketball, all they care is Kobe makes incredible shots, there's nothing flashy about Bynum's game. well, it shows once again, twin towers is our best option and only way to beat Boston in this series. Boston is just too physical for Byrant. Bynum's 12 minutes of action was the reason we lost game 4.

Kobe did his job last night. Glenn Davis and his (bleep) slapping of LO is the reason we lost. To quote Kevin Rooney, Mike Tyson's trainer, "Hey Mike, Robin's not here for you, she is here for the champ." Maybe Lamar needs the visualization of Davis all over his big thick wife to get him motivated, but I doubt that works.

i guess hes not then, or else we would of been 82-0 and 16-0 in the playoffs with the LOB trophy right now. I guess basketball is not a team sport as well. Damn it...

Kobe sure doesn't look like the best player in the world in this series.

Yeah Kobe can get Big Baby and keep him from abusing Lamar Odom. Yeah our 6'10 Power Forward didn't play soft.

Sheeessh!!! Kobe should take the blame for that indeed.

Er, Bynum is important, no question about that, but the Celtics certainly would've won any game in which Kobe could only play 12 minutes. They won game 2, when he was out with fouls and Bynum played nearly the whole game.

Lol, man, why not praise Bynum instead of bashing kobe. I mean, everybody would agree that we need Bynum. Are you trying to say Drew is the best in the world?

Bostons too physical for Kobe? Lol, Boston is too physical for every single one of our bigs EXCEPT for Drew. Kobe isn't our problem.

You could've just made this a Pro-Bynum thread, but its basically an anti-kobe one, and for no damn reason at that.

Good point. People may not admit it, but bryant makes this team go. Pau/Bynum put us over the top. It really is ok to like ALL THREE PLAYERS! Lol

If the Bulls didn't have Rodman between 1996 and 1998, they might only win one title, despite having two of the five best players in the league (and even with him, one year they needed Bison Dele, for god's sake, to step up and help the greatest player ever).

The Lakers had Kareem and Magic - two of the five best players ever - in 1983, yet didn't have James Worthy and that was a key in the sweep to Philly.

Does all that mean Jordan, Pippen and Kareem and Magic weren't all they're cracked up to be? Of course not.

As others have said, if Kobe and Pau played 12 minutes a game, they prooooobably wouldn't be tied at 2-2.

Yes, the Lakers need Bynum. That has nothing to do with denigrating the other players.

This site trips me out. U got the ultimate Bynum jocker who roots for Drew not the Lakers (rak17) then you have the ambulance chaser OP who is mystified that a team that has only 3 legit big men struggled when one who is making 12 million a year played 12 minutes. One played like coward. The other rebounded like a girl.

It's all about match-up's. Celtics are a good match-up for Bynum.

We need to rebound, and Lamar and Pau without Bynum got manhandled once again inside. I think everyone knows Bynum is a good match-up against the Celtics.

So, you think that if Bynum had been healthy and Kobe played 12 minutes, we would have done better?

Mmmkay.

People only bash Bynum because of his (bleep) injury prone body. We all uderstand that his inside presence is a huge factor in winning it all especially with Odom playing like horse (bleep).

You've read too much LG GB. Kobe may well be just that, but you're dissing him because all of our Kobeboiz make it sound like it's a 1 man game when it isn't. They all have roles and it takes more than just him to win titles, even if he is the linchpin. We're seeing that belief come to fruition w/ about 7 guys on this team who aren't getting it done consistently enough, starting with Lamar, who has played like a Clipper this entire season.

What is this? Veiled Kobe hating hiding behind Bynum? If you're gonna hate, come out and say it son. Don't hide or bait. This isn't he ESPN message boards. We don't play that here.

its pretty simple. kobe can be the best player ever, but he can only play one position on the court.
