Kobe's fault now? LOL

Kobe shot well tonight, I don't think he overshot the ball at all. But a 4-0 TO to assist ratio is poor for him.

lets see one to came when in the last 23 seconds and the other Pau dropped a pass. The reason he didnt get assits is b/c he was getting doubled and getting hocket assits +people missed shots + being froze out for various segments of the game.

You cant defend guys nailing 28 foot 3 pointers and fadeaway three's. The nuggets prancing around like they're gonna shoot this well in a 7 game series. I wouldn't bet on it, nor for Chauncey torching us for 39 again. Dude had his best game EVER tonight.

pau was too soft only has 2 fouls on him. be more aggressive.

this one is still on the refs for keeping a team in the game so the viewers don't drop off. every time nuggets down by 6+ points refs let them get away with manslaughter until they back in it. still lakers had a pathetic 4th and denver just career highs all around. espn happens.

league will probably let lakers win now in portland. plus it would be the 10th straight loss @portland and the league loves to make those dramatic games where the team finally "wins"

yawn

And like i said, we got trigger happy in the first half, we tried to match the nuggets shot for shot and got burned. If we would have slowed it down and ran our offense, we would of picked em apart, but we'll save that till the playoffs.

Kobe's fault now? LOL

Kobe: 0 assists, 5 turnovers. Not saying it is his "fault". In fact, the offense was definitely not the problem tonight.
last time I checked, you don't get assists when your teammates miss their shots. And several TOs were him getting mugged with no call. Enough of the box score watching. Geez.

He won't need to have his best game ever when Carmelo is back in the lineup.

I hope some of these so-called "knowledgable" posters can c that the amount of shot attempts isnt our biggest problem. Kobe had just 5 more shot attempts than Pau. ITS DEFENSE! D-E-F-E-N-S-E! I admit, Chauncey and J.R. made some unbelievable shots, but a majority of those came 4rm horrible close-outs.

Calm down. I said it isn't all on Kobe. He played hard and just didn't get the whistle and his teammates missed several potential assists. I happen to watch the game and the box score thank you very much. I was actually surprised when I saw Kobe had no assists.

At first, I was a bit steamed. However, after a bit of thinking, the game could have gone much differently. The Lakers outscored the Nuggets in the paint. The Nuggets were just shooting the lights out from the 3-point line. Those same jumpers won't be going in during the posteason.

You got it, the refs will probably give the Lakers some calls tomorrow. It will be quite shocking.

Nope, it is generally an inside game that wins in the 2nd season. The Lakers definitely have several issues to work through though, which I'm sure we will see ad-nauseam in the forum in the next couple days.

I know, I know, with Kobe it is always someone else's fault.

Ugh, would've love to have won that one (9-13 from 3? Really).

I'm not trippin' too much over this loss, and neither should any of you. It's an 82-game season.

Oh well, on to the Blazers.

The number of shot attempts Kobe takes hasn't been a problem all season.

And I thought I was complimenting Kobe by saying that his shot selection tonight was great. I didn't realize I was trying to make him look bad.
