Tony or Ray, it doesn't matter. They can even send Tim Allen for a double team, Kobe will still make that shot.

Go ahead and throw Woody in there too. Kobe will take them all

This sequence of posts is win.

Just a great win. I was happy for 12 minutes, grumpy for 35 and celebrating for one.

Quit whining about the refs
There was that bogus call where the ball clearly went off Big Baby at one end and the Celtics got the ball, not to mention the refs not seeing that Perk’s rebound was aided when he bounced the ball off the back of the stanchion. There were bad/missed calls both ways. In the end the Lakers made the plays and Boston did not.

This person knows what's up.

Quote:
If I was LA I would not be bragging about having to beat a Celtics team with 7 seconds left in the game when when the C’s did not have a healthy Garnett.

Riiiiiight....and the Lakers have a 100% healthy Kobe. Excuses, excuses, excuses...

Just wanted to add some I found.

Quote:
WOOHOO! Another choke job.

This is what you get when you go away from what got you the big lead. No TA no Rondo, just a bunch of slow players and stagnant offense. Doc Rivers = dog crap.

Quote:
Kevin Garnett - a shell of what he was in 2008... should join the cheerleaders on the side-line... that is his new capacity...

Quote:
Ray Allen - A shell of what he used to be as well... hes going to be traded or will retire after the season if no one else wants him.

Quote:
*Sigh* back to the whole "do you remember those days" mentality, we arent winning a championship ANY time soon with what we have right now...

Quote:
Another pathetic loss. I am one of the biggest homers on this board, and even I am not afraid to say that this team just sucks right now. And I'm so sick of 'Sheed.

Quote:
Doc lost the game. Period.

Quote:
Worst part is that the Lakers were lifeless and played terrible.

Lock all the threads you want, but we are NOT in their weight class.

Quote:
but ehh....they are the better team right now. dont know what to make of it.

Quote:
We are repeatedly falling apart in crunch time despite playing the slowest tempo in the league.

Lost 11 of the last 17 now, with no quality wins in over a month.

Quote:
This team lost all 3 games against top teams. If that does not tell you where this team stands then you are in denial.

Celtics fans falling apart...love it.

Celtics fans are such tools.

The refs screwed us multiple times this game, especially with the ball hitting the camera, which lead to two easy points. It was a clear push-off on Pierce.

The quote about Kobe double-dribbling was so asinine that it made me laugh. Do Celtic fans even know what a double-dribble is?

I love basking in their agony.

We've got a winner:

Quote:
Tonight was the last straw.

I don't wanna give up on the Celtics but this is too much and is not worth it anymore.

Over the last year or so...

I can't sleep every time they lose.

My anxiety goes up before and during games that my psychiatrist had to give me ****.

I have cursed my wife with every four letter word every time she tells me it's "just a game".

4 times my wife has left the house with the Children and stayed in a hotel overnight.

Numerous times I have made my Children cry by cussing at after a bad loss.

I've suffered deep depressions after losses that I have to take Zoloft.

I don't wanna sound like a fair weather fan. I don't want to be a fair weather fan.

Anyone going through the same thing? If yes, How do you handle it?

Ball was out of bounds to the Lakers when it hit the camera, so moot point about the so-called flop.

They "missed" a goaltend on one of Artest's layups that hit the glass before it was touched as well.

Hope they don't. I'd like to see Allen, Pierce and KG in Green getting older and slower each year. I especially hope they don't do something bold like using Allen's expiring to pick up both Hinrich and Salmons.

No, Celtics should keep those 3 are ready to retire.

That call was a make-up call which is why it was so light and there is a lot of controversy over it. Re-watch the last few minutes and you'll see.

even the missed call on goaltending on artest by mr. perkins

or a makeup for the obvious out of bounds tip perkins got by tapping the ball off the camera behind the back board. no idea what the hell the refs were thinking there: "Perkins tapped it towards the out of bounds line and a gust of wind changed its momentum midair to have it come back to perkins?" obvious missed call.

I think they scored 3 pts on that possession
