I defy anyone to tell me what Trump said in response to the January 6 question. I started writing his response but he kept backtracking that it became a incoherent mess. Something about Nancy Pelosi's daughter and the mayor of dc and 10000 troops and then someone else took responsibility. I have no idea.
Biden says Trump was begged to send the national guard for hours before Trump did anything.
Trump talks about what Biden did against the country and how democrats destroyed and deleted information because Trump was right.
How. Do. You. Respond. To. This. Nonsense.
Biden sounds like he needs a glass of water but this doesn't make any sense.
This is nearly impossible to transcribe because the logical pathway of this debate is a hedge maze. The wildest thing is the moderators going "thank you" and moving on. None of this is making sense. |

Problem for Biden is most people watch only the first debate so if this is all they are getting it doesn't bode well for hm. |

I hate to say this, but he's also slipping over his words on occasion.
He usually sounds and speaks a lot better than he has sounded and spoken so far.

Biden's messaging isn't good. He's fumbling a lot of his words, but he's using words like malfeasance when he could surely find a better word? Biden is recalling stats while Trump gets to just speak in generalities. Everything is the best or the worst.
Then the lie that Biden is the one trying to kill social security, and medicare, and medicaid.
Then they cut Biden off during his response lol what is this |

thats the problem. Lies dont mean anything. Plus biden going back to charlottesville, babies in cages etc is bad prep from his team. No one cares or reacts to that. he was literally ready to sign a comprehensive border policy but trump told them not to. He finally said trump wants to cut SS. that resonates.
