No, it wasn't. And if you knew two s**** about basketball, you would know that it was Sasha's fault on that turnover. |

There is a reason why you want good execution against the bad teams to close it out and rest the starters in the 4th, especially with a back to back.. and someone called my criticism of yesterday's sloppy game against the Heat on both ends endless pessimism.. oh well.. streak had to end and hopefully they regain focus because of it. |

That's why the Lakers lost. Normally 1-2 of those guys steps up - didn't happen tonight. |
exactly so all you idiots who are just blaming fisher should look around. |
but only fisher kept shooting in crunch time and bricking |

This is one of those losses I can live with. You're not gonna have your best stuff all the time. We've been tremendously successful on the 2nd of back2backs. This time, it got us. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

Yeah, Sasha moved when Kobe thought he was gonna be there for the open 3.
And then after that it was pretty much downhill. |

For some reason, this loss tonight pisses me off more than any loss lately. It was not so much the defense (or lack of it), but the 3pt shooting (which was lousy). Why, if the long shots are not falling does this team not pound the ball inside?
The Lakers are now 2-3 on back-to-back games when the 1st is a home game.
The loss hurts, but now to start another 10 game winning streak! _________________ "Just show up ready to work, ready to play, Have your big boy pants on, leave your diaper at home." Kobe Bryant

downhill was when Odom took a 3 pointer...then Fish followed...then Kobe followed...then the rest of the guys followed shooting 3s...and kept missing and we kept giving up freethrows _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. The Rose Garden has been the Lakers' achilles' heel nearly the past decade.
But in the end, you can't win em' all. |

exactly ... the Lakers hate the Rose Garden more than you and it ended well for my bank account. This was an easy money game ... take the Blazers and the points ..... easy loot
We can't be disappointed with 41 and 18 .... if you were to tell us that we would be 41 and 18 and in the top 3 in the west .... we'd take that in a heartbeat ....
the Lakers can't win them all |

The thing that pisses me off about the loss was the no calls on Pryzbilla, I don't many times I counted that Pryzbilla was moving on screens and getting away with it.
Anyway, let's start another 10 game win streak. _________________ "This is a comptitive city. We're used to winning titles, not just winning games and being in the first round. We want to win championships. Now's the time.", "do something, and do it now."

Agreed. What frustrates me is that we had it tied at 100, but hey, we can't win them all and we're really low on bodies right now. No Vlad and no Ariza is a big problem. Forces us into a bad defensive lineup (kobe at SF and Sasha at SG).
Kobe missed one reasonable shot and had one bad turnover, and Fisher missed about 3 good threes and two bad ones in the last few minutes. Wish Farmar was there taking those but I guess we need Fish to get out of this slump so maybe Phil was taking the risk that Fish would pull through. Tough loss, but yeah, we can live with it.
Now Dallas on Sunday... That one I want to win. |

Exactly, and it's not like the Lakers were dominating this game, either. If they win, it's a steal...otherwise, they were getting beat by Portland all day and deserved to lose. |

Where was the game lost tonight? | Yep our point guards play no defense out there. Add in Outlaw and Aldridge torching us was too much. |

some people will say the refs is where we lost it ... some people might also be on crack to believe that ... guard play truly tells the story .... they hit their open shots, we missed ours ... simple as that |
