I don’t know why you would think lebron is leaving money on the table.

he's taking his money for sure, regardless of where the franchise
is heading. it's a lot of money.

this FO lost control of the finances and structure way back, LeBron and
klutch are just the icing on the cake.

We added a shooter (rookie) and a new coach. What a woof and a whiff.

We’re headed back to the play in.

Also, Bron & AD will play in Olympics which means they’ll probably be less healthy than last season

I would be happy to make the play-in. This season has potential for embarrassment.

Based on what?

First year head coach.

Highest paid player is a 40 year old in his 22nd season.

Second highest paid player is oft injured big man.

Giving minutes to Bronny James.

In reality they took their last first year head coach to the wcf even with the elephant of Russ in the room

Highest paid player has played more than KD, Steph, Dame, Kawhi, George, Embid, Zion, Ingram, Booker, and Kyrie in the past 5 years since he and AD came together while producing elite numbers … so there’s that

Often injured big man has played in over 90% of his games the past year and a half. He also has a winning record in said games without Bron too.

Lastly who said that? Reaves and Caruso worked their way up and earned their time. As much as he loves Wade and people he had no problem sending his ass away from Cleveland or saying bench people who don’t help him win when the ball goes up. He knows his son is going to be a G league cash cow, get some minutes, and all but he’s seen them develop Reaves and Caruso in person so he wants that.

Reality also says that Dlo Reaves Rui Bron AD as starters together won over 60% of their games and lost two playoff games by one (bleep) shot. And that team is short KCP now and they don’t have a coach who refused timeouts and once refused a challenge in front of him they would have gave LA that possession in a 1 shot game and then to avoid criticism later ran all his timeouts out in the deciding game so they can’t even advance the ball.

He also knows he has 21 mil in Vando and Gabe who were often injured last year to flip, but Rob will not just make a move to make him happy but will do it when he sees the time is right after the Russ stuff. Pelinka has never rushed to deal, and he’s not rushing to throw his picks away. Hell he wasn’t rushed to do a Murray trade with Reaves and he was right because Murray was worth Dlo who struggled in the playoffs again while Reaves still transferred his numbers to the playoffs.

The Nets, Blazers, Wizards, and Bulls all have vets that need to be traded in order for those teams to tank and get their young players the adequate playing time to develop. Lakers should and most likely will wait until the trade deadline for the asking price to drop and the return will look similar to the Westbrook deal in 2023, which the Lakers only had to trade 1st rounder to get off the Westbrook deal.

The Jazz wanted to tank the 2022-23 season, but wanted two first rounders for the Lakers before the start of the season and Lauri became an All-Star, but lost out on the Wemby sweepstakes and was too late to catch up to the tank wars to get Wemby, which was what they truly wanted to do IMO. Nets, Blazers, Wizards, and Bulls currently don't want to end up like the Jazz did of keeping the vets that win too many games that take them out of the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes, especially since the 2025 draft is supposed to be a deep and really good draft overall.

It’s a smart signing for him because Herro and Jimmy both regularly get hurt so he’s got 30 starts in him probably.

Caleb Martin has also told them he won’t take a pay cut for Heat culture like Struss and Vincent did last year 😂 so yeah they need the player

As I say every year, It's ALWAYS solid rotational players going the vet min. I was off about Goga but Plumlee, Kris dunn, Alec Burks have all went for the VM so far.

Clippers won't recover from losing PG. They are putting their fortunes in the hands of Harden and Kawhi. If it was Raptors Kawhi that's not so bad, but Kawhi has been injured for the playoffs the past four seasons.

Most likely. LeBron's extension likely puts them in the 2nd apron, and even if he's willing to take a small haircut they'll be too close that they can't go into the 2nd apron.

You mean they lost one of their biggest paychecks and then managed to sign some role players? Wow, I wonder what the key to that is...

We should ask LeBron James to walk so we can sign nic batum... That would make us a contender...

Buddy Hield joined his first team where he was expected to play winning ball and lost all his minutes and averaged 5 in the playoffs. Melton fell out the total rotation last year as the year went on and even then he shot 39% from the field on a team with Maxey and Embid

Kyle Anderson will help as he helps every team he is ever on. Thats a given.

——-

Clippers traded Batum for not producing lol

Jones has been on many teams but no one outside Luka has made him relevant.

Mo hasn’t been able to find a place in this league and he couldn’t give the Sixers good minutes last year.

Porter has talent, did some dumb (bleep) but the talent is there. He’s not George though.

Dunn has bounced around the league and won’t be in a rotation either come January. He will be like Plumlee was.

Whoops. I miss Ryan Anderson, though. He was the stretch 5 archetype before it became popular. Would be making the Porzingis money today. Just 5 years too late.

Not saying Ingles is Kyle 2.0. He's just someone who can help them win off the bench and he's the same size. Can play the 4 next to Gobert and stretch the floor depending on matchups. He's a far better shooter than Kyle so that will have some affect on their offense.

not even sure how DDR fits in on the heat.

they have Butler, Herro, Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, Kevin Love, Jacquez all playing that 2/3/4 role.
