If we trade AD:
1. We won't compete for the NBA championship again for who knows how many years. Are you really confident in this front office doing a successful rebuild?

Why? We are mediocre with Anthony and Lebron. 4 straight years in the play-in. He is clearly not a franchise player. He has great stats at center but not the impact of a great center. He is always hurt. If we can get Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, and 5 first round picks (including #5 pick Ron Holland), then I would pull the trigger without hesitation.

The Trail Blazers have stopped Donovan Clingan’s slide at No. 7 overall.
Portland now adds Clingan alongside Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams in their center rotation.
Keep an eye on Williams potentially being on the move soon after sitting out last season due to injury.

Definitely an interesting option for the Lakers. They would need to send out more salary than they are receiving to avoid being hard capped under the 1st apron. Gabe/JHS accomplishes that, but Portland just got under the tax with the Brogdon trade. So they have to be careful with the salary they are receiving as well.
I don't think Portland cares if they are hard capped since they want to be under the tax anyways.
No one wants to deal with lakers unless it’s highway robbery for them. It just feels so easy for other teams to pull off deals with each other. This sh*t has been going on forever.
Can't believe Rob messed up getting Zach Edey when he was projected to go in the 2nd round a couple months or so ago.
Another choke job by our FO. Sad day in Lakers history. Not only did he fail to draft Edey, he failed to draft Ware also. (Jk)
What do you mean they failed to draft them ? They weren’t even at 17. This class is not that good to be trading up anyways. We got the steal of the draft. Zach Edey is giving Thabeet 2.0 and Ware is just a lanky C and we have that in Hayes already.
