Knicks should trade Randle for something.

Bridges
Anunoby
Hart
Divenczo
Brunson

That’s a 5 that can beat Boston and really anyone with Thibs coaching. They remind me of the Pistons when that group was great under Larry Brown. The sum is more than the individual parts

They can still do Randle/Robinson/4 FRPs for KAT too

Knicks going for it and they have a young experienced core.

Yes. It’s crazy how all of the really good teams have young stars and teams with old ones have lost the way.
Suns
Lakers
Gsw
Clippers
Bucks
Heat
All have at least one guy over the hill.

Hartenstein is long gone, and I'd have to think they move Randle with less salary coming back now, right? Or at least Robinson moved for nothing coming back, and maybe they just draft a center with one of their picks. Still, that's risky, as they know what Robinson can give them when healthy. Since Randle isn't the best fit for this roster anyway, I'm thinking he gets moved to a team with cap space.

They need a big for sure.

The Washington Wizards are trading F Deni Avdija to the Portland Trail Blazers for Malcolm Brogdon and the 14th pick tonight and 2029 pick, sources tell ESPN.

Deni would have been a nice target for us.

Not bad deal for WAS, they gotta target a C with either their pick or the 14th pick.

Does Avidja play same position as Jerami?

I may have spoken too soon. If they trade Randle with less salary coming back -- or simply move Robinson into someone's cap space for free -- they might have enough to pay Hartenstein over $20MM a year.

2 1sts for Avdija is steep but he’s young and on a great contract. Lots of 1sts being traded these days.

The Trail Blazers add an enticing young wing to their rebuilding core in Deni Avdija while the Wizards add another lottery pick tonight.

Malcolm Brogdon will soon be re-routed from Washington for more assets.

Sure, but why would the Wizards? They are a tanking team. They aren't moving down in the draft to get DLO.

Its crazy how good they could be. This is the kind of behind the scene deal I see them pulling off. They will shock the basketball world.

Brunson changed everything. Late pick, great leader. Guys love playing with him. Who wins ring first Luka or Jalen.

Not at THAT price. Dude is an okay role player.

If we end up getting Zach Edey, I’ll gladly take him over Deni anyday.

Yeah 2 1sts and 2 2nds is a lot. Price wasn’t right for us but he’s a young 3 and D wing on a good contract. That’s a premium asset nowadays.

In a vacuum, I would like him for sure. Just not for what it obviously took to get him.

Love Austin but he isn’t an alpha or if he is this isn’t the team to showcase that. But he doesn’t need to be. Just get better.
