Judging from how excited he was to learn about CP3 coming to Lakers, we could see how Kobe would play off the ball more and focus more on defense better with extra energy absorbed by CP3 playmaking. Scoring burden would be shared but interestingly I think Kobe would have scored more efficiently with CP3.
kobe would've scored more points and at a more efficient rate.

how many fast breaks did kobe miss out on because we didnt have a true PG to advance that ball properly? how many times have we seen dfish throw the ball away because at the end of the day he was never a true pg. he was a short compact shooting guard that has been the size of a pg all of his life so he kind of understood the position.

go back to the GP and malone season. kobe loved playing off the ball. people think kobe liked being bron. he didnt. he didnt want to controll the ball from before half court all the way thru the 24 second clock. he wanted it in his scoring spots so he could quickly go to work like mj used to do with pippen running point.

He hasn’t played against a lot more than he has played against. For him the NBA started in 1990. I saw a lot of players pre-1990.

Don’t disagree with him. But also can’t help but feel like he’s a little jealous of Lebron.

why would he be jealous? he will soon have as many rings with far fewer finals. hes better than him at almost everything that matters. hes on a better team than lbj ever been on. he plays in a more competitive conference. he has nearly as much money. dont see it. maybe hes jealous that everyone doesnt slobber all on him like they do for lebron.

You SAW them wow... what an accomplishment. KD could have watched them too. There are game tapes of pretty much everything. Oh and PLAYING >>>>>>> WATCHING. Sit down.

Durant has been saying MJ and Kobe are his top two guys for 4 or 5 years. I don't think this statement is surprising or unreasonable.

I liked that he provided a reason for his choice, which not a lot of players do.

Kobe and Jordan would have that cat in tears. In their prime, KD could not stay in front of them.....and then KD would struggle to breathe.....because both of those guys would constantly be in his ribs.

Yeah like ventura is being humble when he alludes that his opinion is more credible than an All-Time Great because he watched a couple of these players. Watched.

yep, KD is an all time great shot maker, but in a 1on1, hes gonna need to put the ball on the floor to get to his spots, against these 2 relentless maniacs attacking his dribbling

kd has never in his career shown 1on1 skills on par with the greats he is mentioning. technically, hes never even been the #1 guy. on okc, westbrook was the main man as far as duties. and on okc, he has like 4 #1 guys, hes just one of them. and green/livingston handle most of the duties.
