I will feel much better about our chances in the playoffs if I see Lebron flip a switch against Minny. Even though he rained down threes today against the Jazz, I still wasn’t very impressed with his game today and his play outside of that second half of the Clippers’ game recently hasn’t been indicative of him being healthy. If it was just him coasting and he can turn it on still, our chances are pretty decent to get out of the West. If he’s really as limited as he has looked (especially on defense) then we are going to struggle to win even one series and I wouldn’t be shocked to be knocked out of the play in if Minny/KAT/Ant really bring it on Tuesday and then BI goes nuts the next night with Lebron and AD tired on a back to back.

uh...the Lakers don't play a back to back
if LAL lose Tuesday, they play again Friday vs the winner of OKC/NOL

If LAL win against Minny Tuesday, they'll play the Griz on Sunday

Ah, I stand corrected. I read somewhere the games would be back to back, but should have realized they meant that the opposite side of the play-in bracket would play the second night.

Honestly I can see the wolves suspend gobert for a game or 2 because it might actually benefit them. They came back and win the game after that incident. Based on the video, you can see prince got up and pushed gobert after the punch, so I assume most team mates are on Anderson’s side anyways.

We need to jump on the Timberwolves early, run them out of the gym and beat the living S out of them. We've had at least 20 fast-break points in the first half of each of the last two games — let's continue to play like that but keep running in the second half.

I really want to see this team have a killer instinct and be vicious.

This Gober incident has to be distracting to them in some fashion, Lakers should win....!

I hope Ham knows that stars shine in the playoffs because they play longer and teams go with a shortened rotation. There should be 0 minutes of any game that LBJ/AD/DLO are on the bench together unless it is a blowout.
He needs to be decisive on vando /Rui. Wenyen/Beasley/TBJ should see minimum minutes unless Beasley gets hot which can really change a game.

Someone write a letter to Lebron and remind him there are two ends of the court.

he shot 15/27 3s the last 3 games now. We know Lebron once he start knockong down those 3, it will be like that for consecutive games.

Expecting a blowout (but Hollywood ending is more likely). Timberwolves sound like they want their season to be over, so let's help them on their way to Cancun.

Given everything that has happened to Minnesota, they have nothing to lose.

That’s always dangerous in a 1 game scenario.

No one is expecting them to win now…becareful.

The Wolves are punch drunk. They've lost Jaden McDaniels for punching a wall and may lose Rudy Gobert for punching Kyle Anderson a teammate.

This is the time for Ham to step up and make sure the Lakers are ready to play and not just show up.

I'm surprised by the number of pundits picking the Lakers to get to the finals. Kendrick Perkins is a Celtic who picks the Lakers to win the West and he's not the only one. Damien Woody and SAS are also picking them. Woody is a Lakers fan.

WIN OR GO HOME!

GO LAKERS !!!

Exactly! They fought through the BS and won the last game. This won’t be as easy as many fans think.

My thoughts exactly.

Go Lakers.

Time to bring your A game, this isn't a test it's the real thing now.

The Lakers better be prepared to bring their A game because Minny is still a talented, dangerous team. This won't be an easy game.
They have gotten this far, so I don't expect them to just lay down without putting forth a good effort.

Unsurprisingly

Sources: Rudy Gobert has been suspended for Timberwolves-Lakers on Tuesday.

Adrian Wojnarowski _at_ wojespn

Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert isn’t traveling with team to LA and won’t play vs. the Lakers on Tuesday in the Play-In tournament, sources tell ESPN.

The situation with the TWolves must be really bad, if they had to suspend him.

No Gobert and no McDaniels. Hopefully we can win this game, buy ourselves some much needed rest, and a shot at knocking off the inexperienced Grizzlies.
