He would be a solid pick as well. Nothing exciting, but he could develop well. I'm still holding out for Brandon Paul as a favorite. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

This isn't Laker related, but what do you think of Olynyk? I've seen him play many times and I'm curious as to how you think he will pan out.
I'm indifferent about his game. Nice touch, some post game, some passing ability, puts it on the floor, hits from midrange. He's a great high post compliment to a low post player, but I can't stand his footwork/defense on pick and roll situations projecting to the NBA level. There will be teams interested in his pick and pop ability; especially if he plays like a lesser Bogut. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Mike what are your thoughts on Hardaway Jr.?
Spot up jumpshooter. Work ethic. Doesn't have great %. Average size. Average athleticism. Reluctant ball-handler.
Contrast to Nate Wolters. Different position, but you see the skill set being developed from the work ethic. Can't say the same much for Hardaway Jr. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

James Ennis has a workout video on YouTube. He makes his jumpers, but there's a lack of refined touch on the ball. I'm not impressed by the ball handling. Still a good prospect.
I want Erick Green. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I tend to agree. He seems like a Jason Smith type to me.

Yup. Right in that mold. Skills are there but not refined. Would be a stud in a high octane offense. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Mike any info on the three guys we've worked out so far?
Colton Iverson
Araslan Kazemi
Jack Cooley
Colton Iverson - Killer rebounder. Lacks tremendous athleticism and slower footed on D, but strong to get position and finishes well around the hoop. Great motor.
Arsalan Kazemi - PF in a SF body. Average hops, but tremendous motor and body control. Excellent hands around the hoop, tremendous finisher around the painted area, but no real perimeter range. Can only drive in straight lines from the elbow. Looks like Rick Fox. Plays like Rambis 2.0
Jack Cooley - PF in a PF body. Solid 6'8" but has a 7'1"+ wingspan to boot. Average athlete at best, but holds position well. Killer rebounder, played in tougher competition. Another rebounder.
Of the 3, I'd pick Kazemi. There is a niche for high energy/high motor PFs. Motor is a talent, and what he has over Iverson and Cooley is the ability to draw contact around the paint (where he's most active), play off-the-ball, and force a surprisingly high number of turnovers defensively, despite his 6'8" 225lb. size. Great hands. Surprisingly fluid with his footwork; more instinctual than taught. If he's able to keep the motor and add 20lbs., he'd be the great intangible pick among superstar players. He anticipates steals like a guard.
Jack Cooley
Colton Iverson
If it means anything, Iverson has been spending more time training for the draft, but there's no information about added additional skill/athletic abilities. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
Thanks Mike! Kazemi intrigues me the most out of the bunch as well but although he projects to be mostly a 4 at the pro level, does he have the ability to defend smaller players out on the perimeter?

No. If he projected to be a 3, he would fly up the draf list. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
Not a draft pick but Mike what are your thoughts on DeAndre Liggins as a possible pick up for us? 6'6 with a near 7'0 wingspan, seems to be a multi faceted player who can defend though I admit I didn't watch a whole lot of him at Kentucky or Orlando.
The more I hear about him the more I like him. I think he's a top 10 pick. Paul George 2.0? The next Batum?
6'9 with a huge wingspan and giant hands. Solid athleticism, decent jumper, real good handle. What else? _________________ “This goes far beyond paychecks”

Kupchak is at a predraft workout for
Jordan Henriquez
Norvel Pelle (think Andray Blatche, project player)
Josiah Turner - Nice floor game, shifty, PnR execution, acrobatic finishes, unselfish.
The full Pelle,Henriquez, Turner workout. You can see Mitch there watching.
