Is this a joke? he's under contract and the trade deadline is past. You can't just cancel a players contract unless they violate some rule like "snowboarding" or doing some other sport that has high injury risk. Yes, we could buy out his contract but we'd owe double the amount and get zero for it.
You shouldn't give up on players so easily, without Odom we wouldn't even be in the playoffs. The celtics are simply a bad matchup for him. |
They're not so much a bad matchup as Bynum's mass is needed. That would leave Lamar open to work. |
