I totally agree with the OP. Kobe is the best player on the planet. Why does he even need teammates? He should be playing 1 on 5. And while I'm at it, he should also be coaching. The best player in the world doesn't need a coach. And come to think of it, why are there referees? ... Training staff? ... Doctors? ... Video guys? ... GMs? ...
Hell, why are the Celtics even on the court? Do they not know they're playing against the best player in the world?
The poster is just trying to imply that Kobe should step it up a little more. 7 turnovers aint gonna get it done. By no means is this just Kobe's fault. Odom probably should get more blame but Kobe can and should play better.
When the OP is talking about Bynum being the "key" against the Celtics. It's kind of how LO and Pau were key to beating the Suns since they matchup better with Phoenix' quicker frontline. Against a physical team like the Celtics, Bynum is an important component. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/
lol yeah Bynum's whole 9/7 is going to be sorely missed.
geez, drew's impact has been on the other end of the court. _________________ 'How many kids can say growing up that they'll turn pro and play for their favorite team in the world and spend your entire career there? IT'S BEEN A DREAM!'-Kobe Bryant 11.29.15

Really?
You think it's just about his #'s??
You don't see that they have no one to match up with him?
Or to keep him off the glass?
Or how simply his presence alone impacts our defense?
Or that the C's settle for jumpers when he's out there??
Or that the C's attack with super-aggression when he's NOT out there?

Wow them Kobefolk are sensitive ........I saw the OP more going at the people that have just hammered Drew all year, undervalueing him, and making him the whipping boy this year
Er, Bynum is important, no question about that, but the Celtics certainly would've won any game in which Kobe could only play 12 minutes. They won game 2, when he was out with fouls and Bynum played nearly the whole game.

i don call him key, i call him the X-factor. Pau and kobe is still our key, but LO, bynum and artest will be our X-factor to determine whether we win or not.
