Cam Spencer is an interesting pick, he was dominant last year in college but too "unathletic" to play in the NBA according to the "Experts" who I am not so sure are right in this instance.

I vote for Jadeon LeDee from SDSU but I am a notorious SDSU homer.

The sense of entitlement from the agent of a player that averaged 5 points in college and couldn't get off the bench for a bad team is quite something

He only gets to do that because of his name. No other prospect that played the way he did in college is going to 'big pants' teams with "Don't draft me or I'm going to Australia" and think or know they're getting drafted.

AJ Johnson was drafted 23rd and barely averaged 3 points. What the (bleep) were the Bucks thinking?

Bronny is definitely better than him.

Giannis got two of this brothers roster spots.

The Bulls wasted a roster spot on Jack Haley bc they thought it would make Dennis Rodman slightly happier.

Jeanie Buss runs one of the biggest franchises in sports bc her dad owned the team.

Jesse and Joey Buss, though they have vindicated themselves, didn’t “apply” For their jobs. They were handed them by their dad.

Ditto Ryan West.

Kurt Rambis has a front Office job bc his wife is besties with said owner

Rob is the GM bc he was Kobe’s agent.

Nepotism isn’t unique to Lebron. It’s the very fabric of the Lakers.

Sure, but if you look at the totality of it I’m not sure a player has ever held a team hostage the way LeBron has. He wanted AD and we gave up the farm for him. He wants a max deal into his 40s. He wants a NTC. He wanted Westbrook so we gave him to him. We wanted him gone so we did that. He wanted his podcast partner to be the coach so we did it. He wanted his son drafted (two way not acceptable) so we are doing that. It was one thing when that kind of thing was getting you to the Finals every year. When it’s getting you a play-in berth every year I question why we are so eager to stay on this train.

This question presupposes Rob/Jeanie/The Rambii would know how to build a comparable, let alone superior roster, without him. I have seen little evidence they could manage that. The very fact there’s any perception that he/Klutch are “holding them hostage,” when said perception perfectly insulates them from criticism and relieves them the burden of building a roster based purely on their own decisions, is probably Lebron’s greatest quality from their standpoint. One day Lebron will be gone. And if it’s not Anthony Davis, they will devote any resources they can to get another star like Lebron, one that fills seats with celebs and ostensibly “holds them hostage”

I’m choosing to be grateful we didn’t burn a first on him or another asset to move up in the second just to make sure.

On the bright side, I doubt he can play worse than he did in college.

For reals. The pearl clutching over this pick is pretty damn funny.
