I had Georgia winning this one but not like this. What a boring game. |

Teams down by 31 at the half in bowls games are 1-535. The one team that won?
TCU. 😀 _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Sadly any semblance of a comeback happened disappeared when Georgia scored coming out of the half. |

They take out their QB with around 13 mins left to go in the game, so I think they are confident they got the game in the bag. |

And even with 2 CFB championships their QB might not even get drafted into the NFL. Georgia scores again as I speak. 65-7. |

OSU wins if the refs don't pick up the flag when Marvin Harrison Jr was knocked unconscious. |

Very embarrassing for TCU, Ohio State would have provided a much better opponent for sure. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

We really do live in a culture of the now. People saying Smart will win 10 nattys. It's insane. Look, you could argue that Georgia has been very lucky in each of the last two CFP's. If Alabama doesn't have its two best WR's injured, they beat Georgia last year in the title game, and as it was, just with one of them available for some of the game, it was a close game late. Then this year, not only does Harrison get knocked out for Ohio State in the semifinal, but then with Ohio State in position to win, the coach decides to get conservative and they lose.
They are a great program, don't get me wrong. They'll be in position to have strong seasons going forward. But just as many in the media said Clemson would be unstoppable going forward, we're seeing that now with Georgia. They also have to replace a QB who went 29-3 for them. So let's see what happens. |

I dislike the SEC dominance as much as the next guy, but until another conference or super team can step up, I think we are going to continue to see them win at the highest level even with an expanded playoff. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

The Bama dynasty started cause of Colt McCoy’s injury. That’s doesn’t haven’t they don’t win that natty in 2010. Georgia recruits at a higher level than Clemson ever did. It’s starting to show on the field. They also develop well. Bama is still Bama till Saban is gone but you can see Georgia has a chance of 3 peat. Only been done one time ever I believe. They are headed towards greatness at this level. |

Looks like the Pac-12 might be done. Arizona to the Big12 and Oregon/Washington to the Big10 looks like done deals. |

It was done the moment they created the Pac-12 network and they couldn't find carriers to carry the channel. It was done when the Pac-12 championship game was held on a Friday before the big Saturday conference championship games. It was done when nobody besides USC could win a national championship in the BCS era and beyond. We were just counting down when they could turn it around and they never did. With more Pac-12 teams jumping ship the to the Big Ten, USC and UCLA look like they read the tea leaves and got the best deals. Their football schedule probably won't look as bad anymore since they will most likely play all the west coast teams that used to be part of the Pac-12 that are now part of the Big Ten. |

I hope USC can keep Stanford on the schedule.
Cal, Washington State and Oregon State are irrelevant.
Don't care about Arizona, ASU or Utah. |

Quote: | Everyone is naturally wondering about the future of the Rose Bowl, following the potential collapse of the Pac-12, with USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington all heading to the Big Ten.
But the fate of the Rose Bowl had essentially already been decided.
The last Big Ten vs. Pac-12, automatic Rose Bowl game berth contest had already been played. Moving forward, the Rose Bowl will fold into the 12-team College Football Playoff.
"This year the Rose Bowl is a semifinal and beginning in 2024 it will be folded into the 12 team playoff structure. The last autobid Pac-12/Big Ten Rose Bowl already happened," Reddit CFB tweeted. |

With NIL and then the realignment fiasco, college sports has basically been ruined.
It is psedo-professional sports now, they need to stop with all the "student athlete" nonsense as that horse left the barn in football and basketball about three decades ago at least.
The only good thing about these recent changes is the NCAA is squarely in the crosshairs and hopefully will be eliminated entirely soon. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

When Cal and Stanford can't find a conference something is very wrong with college football. Sadly the way its going they are taking the "college" part out of college football. |
