Celtics have a good shot next year as well, Porzingis just needs to learn how to stay healthy

Mavs weren't even diving for loose balls. If they were diving for loose balls, at least I'd know they had given it their all. They don't seem as hungry as Foston. Maybe it's that first time syndrome. First time is just for sightseeing and enjoying the NBA Finals scenery. They were content with just getting there. I hope they never get there again. Lakers had better make sure the Mavs or any WC team will not make the NBA Finals next year.

Well, Foston dove on two loose balls and won possession on both of them so not everyone from the Mavs is hustling. Needs everyone to give his all.

I was worried about the Mavs when they were TOO reliant on the production of Luka and Kyrie last round. They have good defenders behind them, but nobody to produce behind them.

Add Kyrie's struggles to that, and you have an easy win for Boston.

2 way players are the best players behind your stars. It's amazing how the best one in this LeBron/AD era was an old Danny Green back in 2020.

Haven’t really watched him this much but good gawd Luke plays like zero defense…

Also: this game is o.v.e.r.

Kuzma always seems to bring that up when someone asks him about the 2020 title team, Rob better bring us good players this summer and he better bring them back if we end up doing good next year

Luka's been like that all series and Foston literally takes advantage every possession. It's like whoever he guards takes him to the hoop for an easy layup for dish out for wide open jumper.

Celtics only team that can play Luka and Kyrie Straight up on defense. Dallas could pick on certain players, specifically bigs…against west teams

Dallas can’t get 2 on the ball to get Celtics to make mistakes by helping.

Luka is horrendously bad on D. Very first score in 3rd quarter he switched onto Tatum and Tatum moved into dunkers spot for a dunk and Luka just watched him to do it

Did the Wolves exploit Luka on defense like this? Quite smart of Mazzulla to exploit this weakness of his.

If refs are paid the same amount, if the series goes 4 games or 7 games, isn’t it human nature to want it to go 4 games? You make the same amount of money for fewer games.

What? every extra game is a lot of extra money for the league and the league employs the refs so ofc the league would want as many games as possible and the refs do the league's bidding.

Refs' "calls" could only do so much. They could only alter the outcome of a close game. In a blowout game like this, no amount of favorable calls is going to change the outcome of the game.
