I use a DVI Port too connect my computer too me HD TV. So I can use it as widescreen moiniter and lets me stream videos over.

DVI - I = Carries Digital and Analog Signals.

DVI - D = Only Carries Digital Signals

DVI - I is better, and price wont be a difference. I picked up a DVI - I card for my computer for 28 dollars with shipping included. But u shouldnt have any need for analog signals are basicaly you would be getting this for a digital signal.

I have a DVI too HDMI wire too connect it together.

Also their is a new standard that is being releaesed too replace DVI, i forgot what its called someone else might remember the name of it. In any event DVI still gets the job done.
